The weather is grim with a fierce blowy wind. The cat can't decide what to do with himself. He asks to go out, does a U-turn, comes back in again. Five minutes later, he forgets the weather is grim, asks to go out
The dog refused to go out this morning so, like a tool, I had to stand with a brolly in my dressing gown and coax her out for a wee. The bins are still lying sideways, no point in lifting them in this wind!
@HaHaVeryBunny I hope you get the vaccine issue resolved soon. A sheltered/residential home near my mum wasn't on the priority list for vaccines because, although their residents are practically all 75+, they don't have nurses on staff (they have wonderful staff of carers and support team around the clock), so they didn't count as a "nursing" home when TDs were spouting about getting all homes vaccinated by x date back in Feb. It caused a lot of upset among the residents, who were hearing this on the news, but then being told "sorry, doesn't include you"
It took a lot of local press and radio coverage, and persistence of family members and staff to get there. I should add though that the management were absolutely pushing for it, not against.
