Spending today has been £2.75 in Lidl and £4.80 in Marks and Spencer on vegetables, chocolate milk, oats and a packet of crisps. Also paid for therapy.

That’s a rather handsome piece @BigSkies2022.

Hope the pre-op comes back ok @FurForksSake and that your surgery goes well.

Spent five hours drafting an email to the solicitor and ended up going to bed at 0230 so felt I deserved the crisps. I wait to hear back from them. Have contacted some contractors asking for quotes. I’ve had one back.

@RumBananaSundae I realise it’s a bit late to help now, but ChatGPT is fantastic for things like solicitors letters.

Today’s spends were £3.99 for some essential oil (via DW) on Amazon. It helps to put a few drops on my pillow here. I hate the clinical smell.

Frugal25 · 04/11/2025 19:20

I hope the email gets the desired result @RumBananaSundae how very stressful for you. Im sorry.

Made pumpkin soup and pumpkin bread today for dinner. Delicious.
Must make my Christmas bits and freeze...

NSD for me today. Yippee

Pumpkin soup and pumpkin bread sound delicious. We had chicken breast / salmon fillet with veggies in a teriyaki sauce and rice. Homemade. Was very nice and healthy, but I'm still hungry. The American ice cream in the freezer is calling me...

£80 electrician but that's from another budget
£15.83 Etsy cake topper again a different budget
£4.54 parking for work.
That was it.

ChipshopPickledEgg · 04/11/2025 20:21

Happy for you to Mary x
