£200 in one day

How can I make this? Absolutely desperately in need of websites that have same day cashout.
My rent has not gone out this morning because my gas and electric has gone through the roof and we have had other things go wrong too (death of a family member and costs to travel to be there ect).
Anyway can I have a list of ones that are known to pay the same day please or any other ideas.
Thanks

Please try and find another way. The interest rates are astronomical and it will led you to further debt. I know that is easy for someone to say, but same day money services are not the way.

I genuinely don't think I have another way.
I've looked at a few of them and the minimum amount once you get through the application raises to £1000.
I don't need that much but I do need to be able to pay rent today.
Are there any that do same day payouts for smaller amounts?
Or can I make this on surveys in one day?

I'm a teacher, husband works full time too.
It's getting scary.

Can you talk to your landlord and ask for a few days?

Babyroobs · 12/04/2023 09:42

Can you arrange an overdraft if both working and it's only short term?

CheeseMcKnees · 12/04/2023 09:42

Speak to your landlord, as long as you are honest and communicate it’s not an issue.

PJRules · 12/04/2023 09:43

Pawn shop? Rate won't be that bad if its short term. You won't be the only one unfortunately.

If you have cash available now and have never done matched betting you could make £200 today.

There's no risk to your money but if there's any issues with your identity (not on electoral roll, passport expired, etc) your money could be stuck for a while.

How will online tutoring help if OP needs the money today? Hmm

OP, have you looked up your local credit Union? How is your credit rating? Could you apply for an overdraft on your account if you don't already have one? Or an increase in limit if you do.

It's highly unlikely OP does need the money today. What she must do today is talk to the landlord.

FlickyCrumble · 12/04/2023 09:56

You’d be better off using a credit card or going into an overdraft. Payday loans can charge up to £80 per £100 loaned so please be careful and work out your numbers before taking the money.

@HelpsHeal what right do you have to make that judgement?

OP is a functioning adult who has stated she needs the money today. Which is what she's asked for advice with.

rocketlocket1 · 12/04/2023 09:58

I’ve never done matched betting before.
I would need to know exactly what to do as obviously don’t want to risk being further in the Red.
can you give any advice?

MeMyBooksAndMyCats · 12/04/2023 09:58

Do NOT get a payday loan, they will get you further into debt.

Ring your landlord and explain, technically they have to give you leeway. Pay what you can today and explain when you send the rest over.

It's happened to me a few times and my agency were fine about it. They said long as I ring and let them know and pay what I can they will always be willing to make a payment plan on the rest it's when you ignore their calls and don't tell them is when you get into trouble.

MeMyBooksAndMyCats · 12/04/2023 09:59

Can't you sell something instead if they are demanding payment today? Is it due today? When are you next due to get money?

What's he going to do if you don't pay it? Honestly contact Education Support.

MinnieEgg · 12/04/2023 10:00

You are going to have to sell something if you need the money straight away.

fourhours · 12/04/2023 10:01

@MeMyBooksAndMyCats matched betting is completely risk free but to make £200 in a day you would need a big out lay which I'm assuming OP doesn't have.

I believe it's due today. I believe LL may be saying she needs to pay today, but what's going to happen if he has to wait a few days?

RoyGBivisacolorfulman · 12/04/2023 10:03

@GiltEdges

Just an idea jeez. For the future too. No need to be so dismissive.

philautia · 12/04/2023 10:04

Matched betting is fine but you will absolutely not make £200 in one day from it (when you've never done it before). You'd need hundreds in the bank as liability to achieve that and you obviously don't have that right now or you'd be able to pay rent. You'd also need to spend a few hours making sure you have learned everything.

OP in your situation I'd speak to your landlord. Don't get a loan to cover living expenses. Is there nothing you can sell? Going forward have a look to see if you're entitled to anything on Universal Credit.

Good luck.

Swannning · 12/04/2023 10:04

@MeMyBooksAndMyCats it is not betting - it is 'matched' betting which covers the risk off.
