Cross pose Sea I hope things with dh improve. A bit of space is often a good thing. Glad to hear your mum doing a bit better

WreckTangled · 26/01/2019 13:40

Oh no sea. I'm pleased your mum is on the mend but sorry you and dh have had a row.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/01/2019 15:44

Oh no sea yy to a bit of space being a good thing.

We've borrowed a dog to walk, spent £8 on hot chocolates and chips.

Afternoon nap time now 😉

Happierwithouthim · 26/01/2019 16:01

€20.50 on lunch for myself and my friend

Argh seacow pretending you're not rowing at a wedding is horrid, fingers crossed it blows over quickly and glad to hear your dm has improved so you haven't that worry too

I've been to gym & out for lunch & am now watching Valentine's Day on Netflix, was going to nap girlie but decided on movie & fire instead Grin

Thank you so much for all your messages. I'm so pleased, I slept much better last night. The essay I'm not so stressed about, as if I have to resubmit, it shouldn't be too much work to bring it up to standard, hopefully I'll pass so it won't be an issue.
Last night we did an informal Burns night event at the cricket club. I cooked the haggis, neeps and tatties and there were leftovers so I've mixed the haggis and mash to make potato/haggis cakes coated with oatmeal for lunch today and breakfast tomorrow. Frugal and delicious.
Ds had a good GP appointment yesterday. She is sending him for another set of bloods but doesn't expect them to show anything. She thinks he has some sort of post viral fatigue thing which will likely keep improving. He was back to his usual self again by last night, has kept up with college work and has managed to play cricket today. He seems to be prepared to give himself more of a routine to manage his energy better, I'm quite proud of how he's dealing with it, which must be hard at 17. So long as he can play cricket, he's happy and will do anything to make that happen!
Dd has a friend round for a sleepover so isn't bothering us!
Unfrugally I forgot to take a £4 discount voucher with me to the supermarket today and it expires tomorrow. You win some, you lose some.
jam hope you're feeling better.
Seacow hope you manage to enjoy the wedding and that your mum makes a speedy recovery.
Girlie did you apply for the job?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/01/2019 17:50

Unescorted · 26/01/2019 20:53

I did the WI equal weight, added melted chocolate to the mix and slathered the whole thing in ganache. I will tell you in a mo how lush it is as we are just letting steak and chips with peppercorn sauce settle.

sneaky good effort. I wish my family would do the same. I de clutter and they just use the space created. drives me bonkers.

WreckTangled · 27/01/2019 07:02

Thatsnot I have had it once before I'm assuming it's hormonal?

Rightwayup · 27/01/2019 08:01

NSD yesterday - probably because walked 14 miles and then voluntary work in the evening - so just no time

will need petrol - again today

Thatsnotmybaby · 27/01/2019 08:11

Yes I'm sure it is hormonal @WreckTangled. Good that you've had it before so you are ok with it; for me it's been the first sign of pregnancy each time so if I got it, I would be majorly freaking out Grin.

WreckTangled · 27/01/2019 08:19

Oh don't! That would be a disaster! Boobs aren't a painful and I'm not super hungry so should be ok. 🤣

Thatsnotmybaby · 27/01/2019 09:35

I'm sure you are fine, all those hormonal things are so individual I think Smile.

Wolfcub · 27/01/2019 09:53

Morning all. Windy here all night and still howling a bit now

Hoping to take ds out for brunch if he’s in the mood and then hire the greatest showman while it’s reduced on prime as he’s been desperate to watch it. Depends what mood he’s in though so fingers crossed
