wolf I agree with fluffy although the paperwork is a ballache in the long run it will be worth it. Otherwise close the account and open a new one.

Dd and I are very jealous cag we love those two!! Dd is also a massive operation ouch fan.

Knackering day here, work was stupidly busy 😣 I actually complained to the senior management as I don't feel the current staffing levels are safe. Not that they'll do anything but it made me feel a bit better to vent! !

Had pilates tonight which was good, it's a 5 min walk away but across a dark park to get there so I run it!!

PukkaLove · 13/12/2018 20:10

Did you put it in writing
Girlie?
Cant remember what you actually do but email or incident report form = evidence if it happens again .
Hope you are ok Sneaky

ememem84 · 13/12/2018 20:11

sneaky if you’re prone to stomach aches maybe grab some peppermint tea next time you’re at the shops. It helps calm things down.

Or do as unescorted suggested and have a good fart!

If it’s toilet related maybe try a hot water. And a good poo.

Wolfcub · 13/12/2018 20:12

Girlie I was going to say did you put it on your datix (sp) or similar system?

Unescorted · 13/12/2018 20:15

happier kind of. My holiday has been really backended this year. I have just got to must take a break time. After tomorrow I have 3 weeks off.

Happierwithouthim · 13/12/2018 20:50

Ok unescorted mind yourself & enjoy the rest

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 13/12/2018 20:50

I sent an email and copied in various managers, got a very wooly response (typical NHS 😩) along the lines of we will look at the team capacity and liase with your line manager, yeah okay no actual solutions then?!

It just pisses me off as the expectations on us and the service in general are ridiculously high and yet resources non existent. We're just set up to fail really. One of my lovely colleagues was in tears today as a patients relative had complained about something so petty, between the managers and the general public you can't help but feel very demoralised sometimes.

Sorry that turned into a bit of a rant!

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 13/12/2018 20:50

I did an enormous fart and it mostly disappeared Xmas Blush

I was going to save this £300 BUT after the year I've had...

A+E last January
Being ghosted by my best friend
Having to drop out of uni
Tons of damaging medication that didn't work
Friends dying

I've decided that for the first time in a few years I'm going to buy myself something nice because frankly I fucking deserve it Grin

So I'm getting myself a Nintendo Switch.

Unescorted · 13/12/2018 21:16

girlie we are the same. Work until they break is the management mantra.

LonelyOversharer · 13/12/2018 21:24

sneaky get yourself some lactalose. Round here we call it slippy juice. Works wonders.

Tescos...um. £127. Four christmas jumpers (25% off), box of lego, boy stocking fillers and lots of bits. My big girls thought I was mental driving from Tescos to Morrisons to fill up with fuel. But I had a 10p/l coupon, saved £3.50. My tank is very small.

Wolfcub · 13/12/2018 21:24

Girlie, Unescorted it’s the same with us too. Sympathetic noises but no action

northender · 13/12/2018 21:49

Christmas great news on the job.
Unescorted hope you feel better soon.
Cag Jack Davenport will always be Miles from This Life to me, think it's an age thing!
Pukka icould probably get it done before Xmas if I did nothing else! That was my original plan but it hasn't quite worked out...
Born I had looked at that one, and the 20 in 1 model. I do have some birthday money left to spend and yesterday got our cashback credit card payout for the year £85, not to be sniffed at. Definitely tempted.

Wrongwayup · 13/12/2018 21:56

82 on animal food 22 on human food.says it all really

ememem84 · 13/12/2018 21:59

Thoroughly confused here. Was watching master chef with dh. Decided we need to go to the restaurant they featured in padstow. Yum.

Anyway. Dozed off on the couch and woke up to see Monica Galletti driving a snow machine. Really confused. Then worked out it was a different show entirely.

Dh is concerned that I’m falling asleep early. Have pointed out I’m growing a person and am tired. I remember this from last time. The exhaustion early on. Then there was an energy burst. C’mon energy burst!!! Mama needs an energy burst!!!!

Refunded £25 for my jodhpurs which broke after 2 wears today. Yay.

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 13/12/2018 22:03

Sorry em but am howling at the MasterChef snow machine Xmas Grin

ememem84 · 13/12/2018 22:12

sneaky it was so confusing!!! This has happened before. Last time we’d started watching a film with Jason statham in it. Can’t remember which one. I fell asleep. Then dh finished said film and started on another. Also with him in it. But different plot line. It took me s while to work out it was two seperate movies!

Cagliostro · 13/12/2018 22:21

Ooh is masterchef back? Or is it the professionals or some such

Looks like I'm in for the long haul with baby tonight. Might attempt more Christmas shopping.

I now have some stocking filler inspiration as I let the Caglets do the sorting hat thing on pottermore, they are both hufflepuff like me! DH is feeling rather left out as a ravenclaw.

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 13/12/2018 22:29

I'm Slytherin Xmas Grin

ememem84 · 14/12/2018 06:11

cag it’s the professionals. And almost at the end.

It’s been good. We’ve dipped in and out so haven’t watched religiously.

Slept really well last night. Asked dh to sleep in the other room. I needed to stretch out in my sleep. Bed at 930. Lights off at 10. I crashed out apprently (dh has to come in to fetch something). I woke up at 415 this morning but went back to sleep. Woke again at 555 with catface sitting on my pillow.

Christmas jumper day today at work. And Friday. Yay.

Wolfcub · 14/12/2018 06:35

Happy frugal Friday people

ememem84 · 14/12/2018 07:12

Oh and these are my nails for byesterday. Sparkly.

Festive frugaleers saving through to the new year!
AutumnLeaves12 · 14/12/2018 07:20

Thanks Unescorted. I should definitely come to your show. I'll look for the MN thread too. That sounds good.

GIrlie I'm sorry to hear about the staffing problems. It sounds really hard. I wish the Conservative Government would hurry up and implode.

LonelyOversharer · 14/12/2018 07:58

Morning! Easy morning here, we bought sandwiches last night, so no need to do pack ups. Roll on the weekend.

SnugglySnerd · 14/12/2018 08:30

Thank goodness it's Friday!

Well, nobody's perfect sneaky :o hashtagpuffpride... I can't type the hashtag on my laptop WTF? The key with it on produces \ or | instead. Weird.

Enforced no spend evening, since Amazon was being a dick and not letting me add stuff to my basket. FFS.
