Em that's hilarious! Just the sort of thing I'd do too. In fact next time dh falls asleep watching TV I'm going to switch it to a different episode of the same programme to confuse him Grin

Spends yesterday:
£45 New Look 2 pairs of new jeans, one pair of which should be going back once I get to try them on.
£14 lunch DS and me; it was a nice bit of quality time with him but the lunch itself was very disappointing so I won't go back there for food again.
£6 Post Office.

ChristmasSeacow · 14/12/2018 11:02

NOt caught up quite, will be back later. Just quickly... did someone say they had a voucher code for use in M&S in store? I need to pick up some boxers for DH (he will massively sulk about getting those for Christmas but his are full of holes!) and a voucher code would be ace. I checked my Sparks, nowt useful.

I am in a nearby town centre again, trying to open a business bank account AGAIN. Third time lucky, I hope! The appointments are running late though 🙄

AutumnLeaves12 · 14/12/2018 11:54

I've had small but tweetable little bit of science success this morning, so that was nice. New computer kicks ass.

ememem84 · 14/12/2018 13:17

SPends today.

Small wooden farm for ds
Noisy zoo book for ds
Shirt for dh
Jack wills pj bottom for ds
Book for ddad
Book for dh.

Total spent £150

ememem84 · 14/12/2018 13:17

Lunch for me. Tuna cheese and pnion wrap.

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 14/12/2018 13:41

Spent £5.90 on Chinese last night and will spend £4 in Aldi today!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/12/2018 13:43

I'm eating a chicken bake in my car! It's very nice although not the healthiest 😆

Another busy day at work although marginally more manageable than ystd...

£3 lunch.

QforCucumber · 14/12/2018 14:11

£24.50 refund for some joggers in which the colour had ran in just 1 wash, but now need to source a new pair for a 10 hour flight - any comfy clothing recommendations welcome!

Other than that NSD so far, Xmas party tonight for work. Meal and taxis paid for, taking £20.

Wolfcub · 14/12/2018 14:59

Absolutely knackered. Off to a concert so hopefully will find my second wind somewhere.

ememem84 · 14/12/2018 15:22

Q my go to for joggers is jack wills. They are not the cheapest but keep their softness. And are amazing.

Failing that a simple pair of pyjama bottoms? Fat face have some lovely ones at present.

QforCucumber · 14/12/2018 15:37

Hadn't even considered Jack wills, will check out their Jan sale online when it comes to it.

I am temped by Pjs but its a 3 hour wait between flights at Heathrow at midday before the Vegas flight, I think I may be looked at rather oddly.

AutumnLeaves12 · 14/12/2018 15:41

I've got nice leggings from next at the moment. They're very comfy.

SnugglySnerd · 14/12/2018 16:56

I am so tired. Can't believe there's another whole week until we break up. The kids at school look shattered too.

AutumnLeaves12 · 14/12/2018 17:05

I'm sorry to hear that Snuggly. You have such a lot to cope with just now. I think the short days and dim light are really not helping either. FlowersCakeBrew

I'm trying really hard to be outside as much as possible as the low light levels are very noticeable here now. I've got my special smart over trousers on when I go out, so I can sit out in the garden and feel as though it is April, even though other people are freezing. I'm hoping that that will keep me perky while winter does its thing.

tbh, I'm still glad that that heatwave is over from this summer. I didn't enjoy that one tiny bit.

LonelyOversharer · 14/12/2018 17:07

Q some of my fat face pj bottoms are so nice I wear them at trews Blush especially the ones in the pic . Dp wears brused cotton pj bottoms all the time, everywhere. In fact, if you have come across a tubby scottish bloke in tartan pj bottoms then you have met my dp.

Nsd so far, but am checking out my final (har de har) amazon basket before Christmas later. Have about £80 amazon vouchers, so that will help a lot. Sorted the return for the wrong joke present (google coddies), and finally have the right size.

Have a lot of knitting to do this weekend. But then it will be done. Its a big chunk of christmas money which I have already spent on my dc

£15 in John Lewis. Box of baubles with 3 missing for £7 and 4 packs of metal thingies to hang baubles with.

The acrylic slag looks awesome.

Next week I’ll get a £15 reward for the “we love media” app on my phone. Drains your battery like a mother fucker but I signed up for the next 10 weeks too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Justanothermile · 14/12/2018 17:42

The acrylic what?😂

Justanothermile · 14/12/2018 17:43

A million quid at the supermarket as DS is home tomorrow.

Lovemaltesers · 14/12/2018 17:46

It's going to be a cold 1hr15 for me sat in the car whilst DD1 goes to the Christmas lights at a NT place. £15 for me for that amount of time didn't seem frugal. She goes free #chilly.

Poor internet too. Back to catch up on the thread ❄️

Lovemaltesers · 14/12/2018 17:50

seacow I have the M&S vouchers but they are in store only. Can post to you tomorrow if you pm me. Use up to 20th dec

Unescorted · 14/12/2018 18:01

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/12/2018 18:13
