Thanks fluffy I forgot that was on! Why is the woman not the size of a house?!

Ok, how utterly childish are that couple on ewfl??? Hehehe it's sooo funny. Um, ok. I have no idea how she is only a size 12. I suppose she only eats the crap, instead of proper food plus crap (like the rest of us).

How old are they? She just said "oh no, we've actually got food".

I cannot imagine eating like the ewfl couple in a regular basis. They must feel like crap

I'm craving some veg just watching them

Caglets are watching EWFL, only catching second half of this episode as iPlayer not working to watch last week's. They are horrified at the guy not eating veg.

I'm hoping they will get hooked on the show (they love Greg as we started watching masterchef last year) and get inspired a bit with cooking and eating more.

Yes, friend really is lovely. She is actually the mum of one of my friends from college. When I had DD1 I used to walk over to their house a lot when DH was working, my mum still worked FT then too. So we got to know each other well and the Caglets are very much like her grandkids :o I phone her on mother's day etc she really was like a mum to me.

I am soooooo shattered. Been to London for an interview. I don't think I have got it. It is a bigger job than me.
I bought lunch out and ready made pasta for dinner not a nsd. Needs must. Dh is being a dick.

Two more sleeps unescorted :o it's all a bit crazy and we then have another 6 days (2 of which DH will be working) to get this house cleaned up. So I don't feel we can quite relax until we've done that and given the keys back.

Oh blimey DD is proper ranting at the telly now. That's my girl :o

I pointed out to dh that while I have a sweet tooth I’m nowhere near as bad as them.

Ds unsettled again this evening. He had no naps from 2pm. Sigh. And was so tired and grouchy. But again refused to sleep. I suspect he’s teething again (his teef usually come in twos and he’s got bottom right lateral (next to front teef) but not lefty...)

There were tears. And we had to have a cuddle and some teething granuals (whether they actually work or not I don’t care. They seem to calm him down). And then he finally dropped off at about 830.

Still no spots.

My dh is being a dick too. He's moaning that he's hungry and got some chips out the freezer. I said please don't eat the chips as I need them for a meal next week and I don't want to have to buy some more. He's cooking the chips. Said he will buy some more tomorrow when he gets paid. It's not really the chips it's the fact that every week I have the stress of meal planning, food shopping and budgeting, I ask him if he wants anything and he always says no then moans he's hungry in the evenings. Also never mind the fact that I didn't eat all day until dinner because there's no food in the house.

quite it is tempting at times.
How can people not know how to cook. Even my kids manage to read a recipe or watch a you tube video. They haven't poisoned me yet.

wreck that is really dickish. Why do they have to make life more stressful than it already is?

Hi Unescorted.. I mentioned up-thread that some of the people I know working in our area office of your work had moved about taken new projects /promotions etc and wondered if the changes had it affected you?
Looks like it is change all over them .. Hope you get the job if you want it. !

My DP is in a foul mood too as he thought he had to give one months notice to his current job. Turns out he has to give 3. He was late home anyway, so I have gone upstairs to ignore him!

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day all round

Sorry to hear about all the 'D' P& H stress going on .. Sometimes having DH work away all week can have its advantages ..

It is all change again. We are going from 600 to 2000. I do want this one. It is a proper proud to get out of bed job. Something to do with the new £400m fund. Announced on Monday..... I want. I think I would be right for it but it isn't my decision.

Unescorted Don't tell him in future. Present it as fait accompli instead. That's probably spelt wrong. It's all experience at the end of the day, I hope you get it.

That ewfl chap had the standard motor trade diet, he works for the same company as dh and they all eat like that. Dh said he watched a colleague plough through a whole pack of digestives, half a pack of rich tea, crisps and then go for lunch. At mc donalds. Then snack all afternoon.

Can we help you with the meal planning Wreck? all my faves are quick to cook. I bloody hate cooking.

Must be something in the air as ds just had an almighty go at dh in his sleep no idea what he's done in his dream but must be bad!

I am doing site visits so it will be a fab relaxed day. He can be an idiot if he wants.

Not sure fluffy I think I'm ok generally just so bored of it! This is what's on the list for next week:

Butternut curry
Ham hock and lentils
Sausages in rolls
Quiche, new potatoes and salad
Pasties and chips
Bacon and leek risotto
Chicken wraps

Also the summer holidays start next week so it's going to cost more food wise, need to think about lunches etc
