I've not posted spends/chats for about two weeks now I think, so instead of catching up I'm just going to post today's spends

€18.99 on 12 carb killa bars using my €5 free Argos gift card - bars are €2.49 each in my local shop so saving €10.89
€0 in Penney's using €10 gift card from surveys, needed a black top for a hen party so bought that & a shorties pj set Grin
€4.50 in dealz on a gummi pizza and a tin of swizzlers favourites. I've paid €5.99 for that tin on its own at Christmas. Might sneak back & get a tin each for dc for Christmas.

I really want chippy chips, totm, life I know I shouldn't but I really really want them.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 08/06/2018 20:31

Oh and €31.40 on a Fitbit on eBay as mine broke(my own fault)
I usually just do buy it now on eBay but I took part in 3 auctions today and won the final one about 30 mins ago. Had a new strap ordered from a week or two ago so had to get same type again

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/06/2018 21:34

It's tough mammy but you can smash it ....

Wolfcub · 08/06/2018 21:38

Thanks Fluff

CremeEggThief · 08/06/2018 21:45

NSD.

ChristmasSeacow · 08/06/2018 22:30

My phone went weird and froze halfway through my last post. I meant to add: spent £4 on strawberries and £1.20ish on Ryvita. And got a free book at the library sing and story session because it’s National Bookstart Week Smile

And I received a huge and gorgeous bunch of flowers from an old university friend who had heard on the grapevine about my dad and granny’s deaths, and my bad back, and wanted to give me a lift. And it did. What a lovely guy.

Weekend at home /in Garden planned and I am really looking forward to putting my new plants in. Flowers🌷🌹💐🌺🥀🌸🌼🎋🌻

Cagliostro · 08/06/2018 23:12

I read that as carb killa BRAS. Must be all the boob talk.

I guess that does put a different perspective on DH not wanting to stand up to MIL much too em if he has that kind of fear. From what you’ve said she doesn’t sound particularly frail etc so hopefully all fine but yes the distance does make saying goodbye after a visit much more of a big deal. Extra good that you did clear the air too, how have things been the last few days?

Christmas I plan on delegating an awful lot :o I am really trying to think of as much as possible to get rid of though. And DD has been told that her way of helping will sometimes be to look after Cagletini while we get on with stuff. They are both super excited. Unfortunately DD does this weird OTT sort of screechy thing when excited and from my own sensory issues it is seriously grating on me. Blush They are enjoying making plans but also know it is mine and DH’s decision. They are staying with a friend while DH and I go with the baby to actually view it.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/06/2018 07:11

€12.90 on chips & a snack box, shared my chips with ds, but it was still a binge, stupid totm, I'm getting exhausted now with it too! Fell asleep on couch last night. H was there luckily to put dc to bed Blush

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/06/2018 07:27

Draw a line under it mammy. Call it a carb refuel. Smash it again today. You got this.
Do you need to see a gp about it if it's so debilitating?

Food shopping today, gig tonight, will be expensive with parking and food.

WreckTangled · 09/06/2018 07:41

Morning! Had a good time last night. I spent £15 on a taxi not sure about dh think we just about broke even on the horses. Need to go food shopping before we go home will go into Aldi I think.

Wolfcub · 09/06/2018 07:57

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/06/2018 08:31

mammynowanauntyIRL · 09/06/2018 09:37

Life I'm attending hospital** clinic as flow doesn't exist since I had pph followed by d&c I just get all the symptoms much worse than I ever did before. It's forming a pattern now of the night of exhaustion on day one or two so I think I'll just allow for it next month & go to bed early Smile

Today's fine as planned out now

A capping I've got on my lower front tooth came off on Thursday so getting that fixed& them cleaned on Monday €90
Mechanics bill from jan finally in €350 I've it saved in my Christmas club will pay next weekend as don't want to be short this weekend as going to my brothers for dc to meet their little cousin for the first time

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 09/06/2018 09:44

£7.40 skin care.

I’m 70 points off a £5 nectar voucher on e rewards. I want some free pink champagne on my birthday.

Cagliostro · 09/06/2018 11:25

What’s a Mexican bake wolf?

Will pop into town today, need to get a “strappy leotard” for DD (we have a Decathlon in town so hoping that will have something), sporty shorts for DS, storage boxes and fake Corsodyl. DD could do with more leggings and still need knickers to go under ballet leotard. Sigh.

I don't meal plan anymore must get back into it! Dc aren't great for eating dinners for me either atm wonder if two are connected? They're eating good breakfasts and lunches though.

Ds is fine apparently according to gp
It was a gp that I'm not fond of at all Sad
Got some satisfaction out of fact his bald patch is getting even bigger Grin
