New thread! Thanks laska
Liked bake off, cheated, worked for an hour while it was on, then watched it on sky + so I could buzz through the adverts. Honestly though, do they have to put in people who clearly don't bake??? That lady remade every cake, and they all failed, and she stayed. Maybe they have to fill every demographic. I play bingo, "grandma" "student" "dad" "yummy mummy" etc. I will have to apply eventually...but really can't take rejection! Bar nerves (I do not get on with adrenaline at all) I would have breezed through cake week! Sorry if I sound like a prat!
Labour's are what they are. You get no choice! I though my cervix was broken too girlie they tried for a week to get me going with dd1, she was a c section without a contraction. Dd2 full medical induction, pulled out in the end (28 hours on drip) stupid cervix - no worries having dd3, it'll take days... well she shot out like a cannon ball, active labour 3cm-delivered about an hour. Ds was about 3 hours, he was back to back. I have to admit I was stupidly pleased that my body actually did what it was supposed to (in the end).
My only advice is to expect the unexpected, and don't get steamrollered. If you're not happy or uncomfortable speak up.
seacow sketches trainers are very good for little ones, as they are so light. We have an outlet, but they are sometimes cheaper on amazon. They size as Clarks, so ds has 9.5's and they have loads of grow room. His we're £14. He has tinky tiny feet.
Happy birthday to your boy cag go ape looks so much fun! Perfect party for 8 yr olds. Hope he has a super day.
