Just caught up here this morning
Girlie it is a big spend on wood pellets but they heat our radiators & our water & the last lot will have lasted 9 months & there's someone at home 24/7. There's a minimum delivery of 3 tonne which is €862, 3.5 is capacity of our tank. Since we started joint account we have never had the money for them so going forward I'm going to siphon it off into an account I've to go to branch to withdraw from.

babsmam · 15/03/2016 06:30

Sainsburys tu 25% off clothes is 22 march apparently

babsmam · 15/03/2016 06:35

Nice dress. Hof sell Ted baker see if they have a voucher or spectacular coming up. Or just buy it

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 06:41

Dress is fabulous laska

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 06:44

laksa if you haven't already bought it look on vouchercloud they might have some vouchers for money off. And topcashback have 3.15% cashback on ted baker.

Should be nsd today. I've £15 and change in my purse. Credit card has been relegated back to the drawer. And debit card has been hidden in purse. So it's there not there. All of my online shopping accounts have had payment details deleted.

£95 in my account. £29 in joint account. Till I get paid on Monday. We should be ok. Have enough food to last another week -loads in freezer.

Aiming to finish the month with a plus figure in my account. Then shove it all across to savings.

Pointlessfan · 15/03/2016 07:20

That's good to know babs I really really need some new clothes!
Just realised 4 light bulbs have gone downstairs so I'll have to replace them now. Why do things like that always happen at once??

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 08:44

Been analysing the cost of pellets and while it's cheapest now that it's been since 2013 it's over €40 dearer per tonne than it was in 2008 & 2009. I suppose this isn't bad inflation in 8 years either. 3 tonne will have lasted 9 months by the time we take delivery of 3.5 tonne, in theory this should do us into 2017.

Currently we have a standing order for holidays of €50 weekly, I intend to keep this up once our holidays happen in June - €20 towards pellets, €20 back to school costs for September and €10 for birthday gifts. I will direct the pellet money towards a different account as I mentioned earlier.

lol! laska tell us when you do buy it...! It is lovely.

Boss man came into my office last night (I was teaching till 6pm anyway...) and we had a long chat. Didn't tell him about my plans to meet other place on Thursday, but somehow we started talking about career development and trajectory (funny that, seeing that I was just teaching that 2 hours before)...

does he bloody know?!?!?!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/03/2016 09:31

Lila* didn't realise that's what the wood pellets were for, I was a bit Confused but that makes more sense now!

Babs thanks for that, will be looking to get some summery clothes for me and dd then.

Another day off today, having a quiet morning and might go for a swim later. Felt slightly more confident giving boycat his jab this morning, luckily he is seems completely oblivious to me doing it one benefit of being very very thick Wink bless him.

Heres a pic of the trouble maker!

Girlie he looks so cheeky! And he knows he's a trouble maker Wink

Should be a very low spend day. May pop into town with DS which will be £3. Not 100% sure if I will yet.

I also need a new A4 notepad as my obsessive list making has used up all my paper Blush I love writing lists! So will pop in to Sainsbury's later.

I must stick some stuff on to eBay. DH and I have been so lazy lately Blush

Thanks for the heads up about the TU sale babs. Need new jeans!

Pointlessfan · 15/03/2016 10:30

Aww girlie he's lovely!
£81 in Asda, hardly any of that was food. Bought pillow cases, dishwasher tablets, light bulbs, loo roll, cat litter etc etc.
Loving having the heating off and the washing out! Not warm enough not to have the heating on in the evenings but nice to turn it off in the day.

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 12:51

Aw lovely girliecatface 60p on crisps.

Colleague is annoying me today. She sits behind me. She smokes like a chimney. And to mask the smell of her frequent fag breaks she has sprayed the headiest perfume in the world. Eugh. I have a headache and feel sick.

Bluergh.

CremeEggThief · 15/03/2016 13:03

What's the only thing worse than a late running bus? One that comes earlyAngry. I'm frozen after waiting for half an hour at the bus stop. It's only 7 degrees and raining here today. Worked it out when this one came along, also early. Grrr!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/03/2016 13:06

Sounds grim Em I can't wear perfume as it gives me a headache, air fresheners the same.

Have just booked the cats into the cattery for the week we are away in Menorca. £25 deposit and will be about another £75 I think to pay on collection but given they both have health problems now it will at least give me some peace of mind!

Have been sorting bits out this morning and need to do some exercise now, think will go for a run but need to let my lunch go down first Wink

AdoraBell · 15/03/2016 13:58

Fab dress laska

Glad girliecat seems better on his insulin.

£3.50 in Boots
Bought a coffee out of my sundries money.

WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 14:18

Eugh I'm not good with perfume anyway but over cigarette smell is even worse. Girlie I can't wear it either.

Had to turn the heating back on Blush brrrr

bootygirl · 15/03/2016 15:17

Gave DS money towards new phone. €50. Then I ordered 500ltr of oil that was €260 got €10 discount!
Spent €10 in lidl and I am so proud I walked by without buying a magazine or chocolate covered rice cakes! It's the little victories 😀😉
Older DS was explaining to his brother that his BF had 2 bottles of good aftershave cos he's an only child😂

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 15:35

How long does 500 litres of oil do booty I'm sure if we were to convert it would be a long time before we'd making savings vs woodpellets but interested to know anyhow!

needastrongone · 15/03/2016 15:36

I adore perfume, but not over cigarette smells! I am not very glamorous, but really love having my nails done and perfume on. Covers the dirt under the nails and smell of horse shit Smile Make up is minimal.

£19 today on annual membership of local stately home, where I take the dogs. Amazing value, there's woods, massive grounds, cafe and a huge play area, plus a bird garden. Council run, hence the value. Been a member for years, and I take the boys at least 4 times a week.

Morrisons shop if arriving later, £50.

Been a decent month so far.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 15:57

Have spent about £30 on eBay. Have got:

Dd:
Boden dress
Next tennis dress plus wrist and head sweat bands for dress up day

Ds:
Next top
3 X next pjs
Oshkosh top
M&s jumper
Digger top
Debenhams jumper
Next jumper
Next jeans

So I think that's quite good.

Colliefeatures · 15/03/2016 16:21

DS has grown out of his shoes again. Didn't go into town as the buses were all too full. Even full of people standing. I can't stand on a wibbly wobbly speeding bus with a toddler Blush.

I'll need to buy DS new shoes in a min. £20 I think.

Got my Next VIP sale slot but haven't seen anything that I want :(

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 16:23

That's loads of stuff wreck and all good brands too
Dd is growing out of jeans like the new time, she's 6 next month and some 6-7 won't close on her hips and some 7-8 either!

Colliefeatures · 15/03/2016 16:34

Spent £9 on DS trainers. Smile

Pointlessfan · 15/03/2016 16:39

Wow, that's good going for 30 quid wreck.
