Lilac
I have found that oil is cheap lately! But it varies a lot! I don't use mine in the morning, might have it on for an hour midday. Then few hours in evening. I am a cold person!
But I guess about ten weeks.. Sorry to be vague! My mother would use more as she is home more.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/03/2016 16:51

Chop clocks are meant to be particularly useful for reducing oil consumption.

I really want one.

£1.69 frozen peppers and wraps.

The thermals will be in the sales soon too. I need new thermal leggings.

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 17:34

I am at the gym. I had to mention to colleague and my boss that I felt sick because of it. Colleague shrugged and told me to out up with it. Boss is also hating it. Sensing I won't have to put up with it for long. pretty sure if I was pregnant they'd do something...

Still only spent 60p on crisps.

Need to get milk on way home. Have text 🐄 To dh. Hoping he understands.

I just wanted to thank you all. Without your help I would never be in my lovely house.

Thank you all so much.

P.s
Central heating rules.

WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 17:52

Hmm lets all guess what em's dh is going to come home with.

Mine would bring home malted milks.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/03/2016 17:53

Free Good for you. Enjoy it.

Em

Dh sent me one, 🐺Y. Genuinely thought it was a horse. Was baffled all day.

Have new car coming. £12 a month cheaper. Just got to service the current one & send it back. Hopefully I will be able to put that £12 onto the mortgage instead.

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 18:09

That makes me happy booty I know it varies in price, works out at roughly €50 a week so vs my €24. Just I can't really buy in small quantities well I can but far more problematic and expensive.

Hope you get milk home I would just get a phone call what?

lilacclery · 15/03/2016 18:18

Bought a dishwasher last Nov on buy now pay 6 months later & have been diligently paying weekly to finish up the week before. Also bought some clothes since then & not on interest free. Discovered this morning the money has not been allocated properly & owe about €200 in a few weeks HmmShock spoke to a lovely guy on live chat today & he will reallocate the payments [phew]

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 18:29

I spent £1.80 on a litre of milk. Just in case dh doesn't understand my text and brings home a cow.

I once wrote "cereal" on the shopping list. He went to the shop. And came back with Frosties, shreddies coco pops, lucky charms, pop tarts, weetabix, all kinds of chocolatey breakfast cereals. But not special k. Despite the fact that it was at the time my staple breakfast food.

Must be specific. enjoyed all the not very grown up cereals though

needastrongone · 15/03/2016 18:32

£43 dog food. No offer on the brand at the minute, so bought one months supply.

Need to menu plan fully too.

Just having a cuppa and a sit down. SC chicken balti with mushroom and peppers and rice on the go.

£2 on tomatoes.
Ah cute cat.
That's a good haul wreck.
Do you have a desk fan? Turn it on and blow the smell back towards her. That's what I do. Depends where she sits though if you can do it without freezing Someone else

babsmam · 15/03/2016 18:39

Ah that's good free.
I would get ? Sent back to me as we need specific shipping lists here too

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 18:47

babs no fan sadly. Apparently it's her right to smoke. Which is fine. I've asked to move desks. And stated my reasons. The only spare desk at the moment is at the other end of the office from where I am now. I need to be near my boss. And we work well as a team. So the whole team would have to be uprooted just for me. unlikely

I suspect they'll move her. To the spare desk. Next to the cloakroom where the stinky disabled toilet is.

WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 18:59

I would get such a bad headache and feel sick too so well done for saying something!

Need your food always sounds so nice.

babsmam · 15/03/2016 19:10

I'm really cross for you em. I typed out a right rant but then lost it. Probably best

WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 19:18

Why don't you get some of that oust odour neutraliser spray and spray it all the way around her each time you go past?!

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 19:20

just standing up for myself. I said when I left my old job I'd do that more. I'm all for finding solutions to problems.

My ultimate solution would be to get rid of her. she smokes she looks untidy and scruffy. She stinks of smoke. She's lazy and puts upon my junior. Who while lovely and hardworking can't say no. must teach her how to do that

She is going to have a shock come bonus time Friday apparently her old place paid out 15% bonuses to all staff. We don't. Maybe this will be the push she needs....

On a cheerier note, dinner tonight is chilli salad home made salsa and wraps. With cheese. and onion rings

babsmam · 15/03/2016 19:26

I wasn't having a go em, hope you didn't think that. I'm cross for you, as in on your behalf, at the situation. You absolutely should stand up for yourself.

CremeEggThief · 15/03/2016 19:26

I'll have to catch up later. Just wanted to quickly post spends before dinner. £35.88 in the Co-op (£15 gas, £8 electric and £12.88 top-up shop, £7 bus and £3.90 on a cappuccino and a muffin. Total: £46.78.

Ememem84 · 15/03/2016 19:56

babs no, I didn't think that at all! 😀

AdoraBell · 15/03/2016 20:51

Fingers crossed for the lack of bonus then em

Well done free

I've had a frugal fail Angry forgot to freeze the GF sausages and chicken thighs last week, ffs. Dogs are happy Hmm

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/03/2016 21:03

Spent another £3 in Pets at Home, had to pop into the vets which is based there and with dd in tow its almost impossible not to buy something! The vets have given me a bag of diabetic cat food and a blood sugar monitoring machine! I diligently measured out how much food the cats should be having in a day and they scoffed the lot in about 10 mins Shock Blush think we may have been seriously over feeding them!

Wreck you did brilliantly for £30, I seriously need to get to grips with eBay!!

Em well done on saying something, that colleague sounds like a nightmare tbh.

babsmam · 15/03/2016 21:17

That's good then em
Grin fingers crossed for the lack of bonus

bootygirl · 15/03/2016 21:34

Lilac. It's about €30 a week I think but to be fair our house is well insulated and we are nt home all day.
You must have got a shock over the dish washer😳 At least your getting it sorted!
Em that's horrible a male member of staff used to wear too much after shave so I can empathise.

Getting free lunch 2m😀 Well a wrap but hey. Also my mam is cooking me & dh cabbage & ribs on St Patrick's day yummy! Will make pizza for the ds's & their friend.

Pointlessfan · 15/03/2016 21:43

Well done for saying something Em, your dinners always sound delicious BTW.
Need to buy Easter bonnet materials tomorrow, apparently the pound shop has loads of stuff, if not I saw some in Asda this morning. I've never made an Easter bonnet before. There are some amazing ideas on Pinterest but I think sticking tissue paper on a hat is about the limit of my creative ability.
