We are too creme it's reached 10 degrees here but the sun shines in all afternoon and really warms the house up. Will be cold if it's cloudy though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/03/2016 16:42

Girlie Is it porcine or bovine insulin?. If the insurance runs out could you get a prescription off the vet & buy it online?. It might be cheaper, advocates really cheap if you buy it online with a px.

£20 petrol.

Ememem84 · 14/03/2016 18:33

Wow lilac good one!

Nsd. Walked home as dh is working late. Made ridiculously spicy Thai style rice with fried egg on top.

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 14/03/2016 18:49

Saturday was very spendy, £15 petrol (dp usually buys the fuel), then £84 on two swimsuits in debenhams. It was grim, and I am now on the wagon to lose 10kg before my 40th later this year. I'm not even fat, I'm lumpy. Gross bits of flesh that I'm sure don't belong to me. Was quite down on saturday night. Then £42 in sports direct, two sports bras, two short sleeve base layers, socks, goggles.
And £32 in aldi for sunday chicken dinner, and top up shop.

Yesterday we went swimming! Its 25 miles to the nearest nice pool, and after a slow start for ds, we all had fun. He went from sitting on the side with dp, to in the water on dp's shoulders, to basically swimming being held round the waist. Little star, but new and change really worry him. The girls had great fun, and dd3 now won't be so wary of school swimming lessons later in the year. Just £5.50 on snacks on the way home to keep the troops awake.

Today we burned all the waste scrap wood in the garden, two broken chicken coops, and lots of rotten stuff. The ferrets have gone out in their enclosure, and I dug out a trench for a concrete base for a wall. Spent £19 on some timber to finish the ferret place, but dp bought me some seed potatoes and two onion sets.

Sorry for the long post, will try to keep up better!

I'm probably too late but have a lovely break fuzz.
NSD today. Just made meal plan. We have a very busy week and the workmen are still here so it's mainly stuff from the freezer and low-effort things:
Tue: Pasta with tomato sauce and garlic bread.
Wed: Pizza & salad
Thurs: Quiche, jacket spuds & salad
Fri: Stir fry with noodles
Sat: Take away
Sun: Sausage, mash & veg
Mon: Spag Bol
It would be a cheap shop but unfortunately we need lots of things like cat litter, dishwasher tablets etc so that'll add up.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/03/2016 20:45

meal plan;

Tues - jacket spuds with tuna and cheese.
wed - fishfingers, chips and beans.
Thus - Bolognese and pasta (need to remember to get that out the freezer!)
Fri - sausages, carrots and spuds with gravy.

Thats as far as I can think!

Fluffy I had a look at the insulin its called caninsulin and doesn't seem to say what type. Will def check out getting online if thats going to work out cheaper. The vet seemed fairly confident that boycat might not need insulin for the rest of his life so we will have to wait and see I guess. Have given him his first jab - very weird jabbing a cat rather than a person Grin its hard to get the needle in the right place because of all the fur!!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/03/2016 20:47

Oh and i forgot to add a spend earlier!

Spent a further £11 in Pets at home but got 48 tins of Butchers classic for £10 which is really good value and some dreamies for £1.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/03/2016 20:50

Canin = dog?

MrsWOLF1 · 14/03/2016 20:52

Had spoken to them way back in 2012 and got fobbed off with a small payment as they reckoned it was to old / couldn't find paperwork etc. Anyways cash landed in account today ,good start to the week

WreckTangled · 14/03/2016 21:14

Laska5772 · 14/03/2016 21:15

Ememem84 · 14/03/2016 21:20

lunches are made for tomorrow (more leftover spicy chicken rice - yum). and my gym bag is packed for tomorrow.

outfit is planned. i love how now i'm a bit more organised (and got rid of a load of stuff) i can see the clothes i have, and am being a bit braver with my clothes/outfit choices. also no longer saving things for best. just wearing if i feel like it.

have started to put a savings plan into action. #grownup

Ememem84 · 14/03/2016 21:25

laksa that is gorgeous. i have a pencil skirt from ted baker which was an absolute bargain (as it was supposed to be part of a suit, but there was a slight mark on the skirt so it was reduced down to £40). its just perfect. fits in all the right places, it sucks in, it lifts, it makes my bum wiggle when i walk. sadly it needs a new zip...

Pointlessfan · 14/03/2016 21:33

That's amazing wolf!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/03/2016 22:18

Thats def what its called Fluffy hoping the vet knows boycat is a cat Grin It seems to have worked as he is more awake tonight than he has been for ages, am guessing he has been feeling like crap for a while but its only when the other symptoms became obvious (thirst and peeing loads) that I twigged something was up. I just thought he was being a lazy cat sleeping all the time Blush so hard when they can't tell you if they aren't feeling well.

Laska the dress is beautiful - go for it!

Mrs amazing! I seriously need to talk to hsbc about a loan I took out years ago!!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 14/03/2016 22:21

its this one Fluffy link although on this website looks like it costs the same as what the vet was going to charge.

needastrongone · 14/03/2016 22:26

Beautiful dress Laska.

Girlie Animal meds are usually cheaper online, once you have a diagnosis and/or prescription. I buy massive bottles of Hibiscrub etc, but pretty much all the pony stuff (wormer, sedative to clip the bastard, etc) at various websites.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 15/03/2016 04:35

Laska love that dress and the coat the same!

I have been trying to update my wardrobe both for home and work recently found mantaray at debenhams dh got me few bits for Xmas and I got couple bits in 70% off sale.

Then in past mth fat face n white stuff seems everyone else does too struggling to get any bargains on eBay - I don't mind second hand, I did get fat face dress in sale instore for summer from £40 to £15 which was pleased with.

WreckTangled · 15/03/2016 06:05

I've got a ted baker purse and bag, they have an outlet at gunwharf. I'm also lusting after a watch I've seen.

Hoping for a nsd today as going to work.

We've got a frost this morning and although it was a bit chilly when I first got out of bed it's fine now so the heating can definitely stay off.
