WreckTangled · 26/03/2016 19:55

We have a cineworld or odeon both about forty mins drive.

East what bargains you got!

Ipsos I think your ds would enjoy some clues like these he's the same age as dd(?) and she has been begging for proper clues!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 26/03/2016 19:57

I know wreck there was another 8 bargain chickens but no way could we have squished anymore in either freezer :)

Saw some bnwt joules linen shorts I'm charity shop today for £7 didn't realise what a bargain they were bet they won't be there next week

Cagliostro · 26/03/2016 19:59

Good Kondoing Bees :)

On the subject of swimwear, I'd meant to say when we got back from the holiday that I had an epic frugal win. My swimming costume, to my great surprise, still fit! Not without a struggle though. :o It would cost a lot to get a new one, as I don't dare get one without a proper bra inside IYSWIM. I got it from Bravissimo.

Must get around to ordering a home ed discount card for swimming - DS coped fine with it (had been told for years never to take him swimming because of the chlorine on his eczema) so would like to try and go more. Unfortunately it can only be when DH is free to join us, as I'm not safe swimming on my own. Ironic really as it's a really good form of exercise for my conditions!

Need to do the egg hunt now. DH got a little kit thing with clue cards but still need to write them out. It's all very aspirational and based on our recent home ed topics. There may chocolate carrots hidden in our home made canopic jars Wink :o

WreckTangled · 26/03/2016 19:59

Also I had to explain to my little sister what Tetris was the other day Easter Shock I feel old.

lilacclery · 26/03/2016 20:13

Wreck what happened to you? How come you're sorry

Thanks to all for your wonderful words. I'm going away for a few days visiting my parents & think I'm going to talk to my mother about what's going on. Unsure if this is the right or wrong thing to do as she'll worry about me.

em that's a difficult situation you're in

Fluffy is your jacket a nice pale blue?

WreckTangled · 26/03/2016 20:17

I was just feeling sorry for myself wreck Easter Grin I'm no good at drinking I'm actually considering stopping all together. I feel good for about half an hot and then I just feel shit!

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/03/2016 20:19

Won't know till it dries. It's ruined my Audrey Hepburn aspirations.

East I love a good haul of marked down food.

lilacclery · 26/03/2016 20:33

That should have said sore!
I've all but given up drinking, I'm just not too bothered by it anymore. Sure the odd glass of wine but that's it really.

Fluffy that made me Smile

A few weeks ago I sold two dresses and a jacket €20, tomorrow I will sell a skirt & top €15 but I bought a skirt & top plus two pairs of jeans on Facebook so the purchases cancel out the sales Grin I'm ok with that though means I've new clothes for €0 Smile

Today I evaded spends on lunch out by coming home & using stuff I'd in.
Spent €20 at soft play & neither me or the kids enjoyed it.
Fruit & veg shop cost €26.66 today butchers was €26 yesterday. Will do a semblance of a weekly grocery shop mid week when I return from visiting my parents.

Loving shopping in f & v shop as fruit is fabulous & kids pounce on it as soon as we get to the car.

babsmam · 26/03/2016 20:34

Nice haul of yellow labels there.
Em oops. Hope dh sorts his ma out

Ememem84 · 26/03/2016 20:44

Spag Bol, glass of red and hook in tv. Dh chose well for our Saturday retro movie night.

WreckTangled · 26/03/2016 20:49

Liliac sore because I walked 9.5 miles in London and have hip dysplasia among other things. Em I love hook!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/03/2016 20:50

Ipsos sorry to hear your still not feeling great, i am going to be first in the queue for the flu jab next year!!

Fluffy i think the jacket sounds nice, blue is my favourite colour though Smile

Think will take dd to see Kung Foo Panda 3 over the hols once she is fully recovered.

Wreck I stopped drinking for that reason, it so wasn't worth the days of feeling ill for the 10 mins of feeling slightly tipsy Grin I really don't miss it.

With all thats happened with dd this last week I really haven't got my head round Easter at all, I had got her some eggs before she became ill but haven't got any to do an egg hunt Sad Oh well, keep reminding myself that this time last week she was seriously ill in hospital so am grateful we are home and she is so much better.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/03/2016 20:50

Our Tesco had bacon down to 8p a pack but it was Danish and I'm not sure what their animal welfares like so I didn't buy any.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 26/03/2016 20:58

Ohh fluffy dh would have put his no danish bacon in the house morals far to the back of his mind for 8p bacon!!!!

EvaDelectorskaya · 26/03/2016 21:18

Not quite an NSD after all, I had forgotten the steaks DH was buying for dinner €9. But that's such a good price for them, I must get him to buy more of our meet from that butchers ( near where he works) .

8FencingWire · 26/03/2016 21:21

£60 at the restaurant tonight

£4.50 in Lidl.

Restarting a 72h NDS tomorrow.

Ememem84 · 26/03/2016 22:26

ipsos sorry you're still not feeling better.

wreck I'm the same now it seems. Three glasses of wine and I'm happy tipsy drunk. But feel horrendous the next day. And for days after. I toy with the idea of going teetotal. But know that I'd get so much hassle from family/friends for being "boring" it's not worth it. ive started driving to events though. It saves us money on taxis and saves me a hangover. Smile except for yesterday when we walked and I had no excuses and was very weak willed

WreckTangled · 27/03/2016 08:32

Happy Easter! Aiming for a nsd (nowhere is open anyway!). My sister and bil are coming over for coffee haven't seen them since Christmas as they live in bath. Can't wait Easter Smile

babsmam · 27/03/2016 08:40

Happy Easter, hope dc weren't up too early with the clock changes. More national trust today

needastrongone · 27/03/2016 09:04

Happy Easter.

Lila Do talk to your mum. I bet she will know far more than you think. You won't be burdening her, promise.

I've got the stage where I enjoy a really good glass of wine, savour it, but don't want another. Friday night I had too much and it spoiled yesterday, although the party was brill. By really good, that's imho, I currently love an Aldi red at £5 a bottle and a M&S white at £7, the critics may not agree.

I don't want to spend today as it's Easter Day. I am not at all religious, but this is the most important day in the Christian calender, and the rest of my side of the family are religious, so it feels wrong to spend.

I think I've sourced a good supply of home grown organic veg from a local supplier, so I will look into that instead.

Ememem84 · 27/03/2016 09:10

Today should be nsd. Nowheres open anyway.

lilacclery · 27/03/2016 09:41

Today I will spend some money topping up voucher for lunch, buying flowers for my mother as even though I saw her on Mother's Day we were at a match so I couldn't give her something plus she's going to WW so won't appreciate an eggSmile

need is that a good glass of wine or a glass of good wine Grin

There's so much chocolate in our house. I trained myself to eat dark a few weeks ago & had a little bar out of aldi multipack last night. Easter eggs won't help me lose 2st will they!?Hmm
1.5lbs lost last week, 0.5lbs this week not going to cancel that out with Easter chocolateSmile

CremeEggThief · 27/03/2016 10:32

Happy Easter 🐰. Hope the Bunny has been good to all.

Having a great time in London. Spent about £43 yesterday, £20 of which was topping up my and DS's Oyster cards and the rest was on a meal out, so fairly frugal, all things considered. Off to the zoo today and might have a takeaway at my brother's afterwards, so probably going to be spendier. Anyway, eat lots of chocolate and enjoy your day, everyone.Easter Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/03/2016 10:36

Happy Easter everyone.

Spent £20 in new summer shorts in boden. Ordered wrong size by accident.

Will ring tomorrow to ask them to alter the order. Hopefully their warehouse is closed for packing today. Sigh.
