Anyone noticed the govt and news sources seem to be covering more and more stories regarding the unvaccinated (by choice)
I feel they might be ramping up support for restrictions for unvaccinated people.
It's feel very much like propaganda and warm up the masses.
Anyone agree or noticed this in the last 3/4 days?

This is another reason why I have issues with mandatory vax/issues to force take up. The vax efficacy % waxes & wanes over relatively short timeframes.

It certainly isn’t set in stone for any significant length of time.

What began as 91% Pfizer efficacy ‘against Covid-19 disease’ is nowhere near that now with Omicron barely a year later, even after a booster and then only against ‘serious disease’ not just ‘disease’. Now it seems the booster doesn’t boost for very long.

Notwithstanding the vaccines do still give an edge of sorts where this disease is concerned, I don’t think that edge is profound enough where it is worth riding roughshod over body autonomy & basic human rights (imho). Furthermore it’s not a situation in stasis. eg natural immunity could well improve the more we are exposed. Seems to have happened in South Africa during this Omicron wave.

@Scarriff there's otherways around needle phobias for some things, my dad has happy gas for dental work for instance but vaccinations and blood tests are a problem for him. He's managed to get through 2 of the vaccinations which he struggled with but hasn't managed to go for his third yet and not sure he will make it to that and I know he hasn't been having his flu vaccine either.

Quite. Everybody I know who has caught covid was vaccinated a few days before. Anybody sensible wears a mask, improves their immune system with Vitamins D3, K2, zinc, and quercetin, then washes their hands after going out. Distancing is also a useful thing to do.

Masks work properly should be mandated.

Most people I know with covid have got it before their booster when their protection is waning. Seems more scientifically correct that your assertion that people get covid from their jabs which is...weird.
wildchild554 · 26/12/2021 11:01

@Underparmummy I think they are saying more that still need to take precautions after having it and the immune system building is also a good idea my doctor told me to take vitamin D, vitamin C and zinc to strengthen my immune system when I sought advice on how to avoid getting ill with another chest infection and appears to be working only had 2 since September :)

Underparmummy · 26/12/2021 11:04

Oh I see, I thought they were insinuating the jabs gave these people covid!

wildchild554 · 26/12/2021 11:10

@Underparmummy I think it's just the way they wrote it, I've wrote stuff before and its come out wrong so I reread what I write to make sure it conveys whats I am saying clearly enough.

starlight13 · 26/12/2021 15:39

As long as prior to this they've made sure that every citizen (baby or otherwise) has had their Vit K, MMR, HPV, measles, tetanus etc etc.

People will say that covid requires a vaccine as it puts pressure on the health system but so do the selfish for not giving their children MMR, measles etc.

Ultimately it should be human nature to protect the young, not the old. It seems to have become twisted somewhere along the way.

Does anyone truly want to live in a society that forces unneccesary medical procedures onto their citizens and against their will?

Thievesoil · 26/12/2021 15:42

I don’t understand the frothing

Surely it would be sensible to offer boosters now on risk assessment? We know who is going to seriously affected and it’s not the young folk.

wildchild554 · 26/12/2021 16:12

@starlight13 it's wrong to call people selfish if they decide against certain vaccines, everyone's situation is different, my youngest didn't have his second mmr vaccine due to what happened after the first doesn't make me selfish, I'm doing what's best for him and not risking him having more lifelong problems and the pediatrician agrees with me that the risk it will make things worse for him is too great. I wish to this day I hadn't took him for the first one, I was thinking something was going to go wrong and at the time I was thinking it was just because of past experience and didn't trust my instinct. Plus there are people that had children die from a vaccine. Trust me that puts people off and makes them more anxious. I nearly lost my eldest due to a vaccine when he was 2 months old and couldn't breathe. Every vaccine my kids had after that was very stressful because the fear it puts into you and not everyone would be able to get over that fear especially if their child didn't survive a reaction..

starlight13 · 26/12/2021 16:49

@wildchild554

Exactly, that's my point.

All humans count and nobody should be forced to have any vaccine against their will. That's it, period.
Anything we choose to put into our bodies is just that, a choice, and all vaccines carry dangers along with benefits. We weigh this up ourselves but unfortunately, with covid, the government has proved just how much they can control and scare society into controlling them.
What is going to be forced upon the population in Austria and Germany, and likely more countries is beyond worrying.

wildchild554 · 26/12/2021 16:54

@starlight13 oh sorry must have misread what you meant before I thought you were calling people who hadn't got mmr vaccines etc selfish literally, sorry.
