My sister did one on Sunday at 12.30 and got the results at 8.30 the next morning.

I've tested my 4 year old this morning at 10.30 so hoping for negative results tomorrow morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

We tested yesterday evening at a testing site and have not had any results yet. Previous tests have all come back within 30 hours the quickest being 19 hours from test to text.

I'm hoping it won't be much longer am already getting cabin fever.

hellosunshineagainx · 16/12/2021 13:07

12 hours, that's fab! I can only pray for this! 🤞🏻
CoffeeandChocolateplease · 16/12/2021 13:15

My son had one at 9am on Tuesday this week, and had the email at 1am the next morning, despite there being queues at the test centre. We do have a testing lab in our city so tend to get results quickly anyway.

elvis4nuts · 16/12/2021 13:38

🙏🏻 For 12 hours for everyone!!!

Not 12 hours but ours have just come through and we're negative as suspected. So here's my very up to date overview Grin

Test time - 5pm Wed
Results received - 1.40pm Tues

Total time - 20 hours 40 minutes

PinkWaferBiscuit · 16/12/2021 13:45

*That should clearly say Thursday not Tuesday Blush

poorbuthappy · 16/12/2021 13:46

Sunday afternoon is the best time to get tested I've found.
Results usually by Monday morning
Tested Monday afternoon - 24 hrs
Tested Wednesday morning - less than 24 hours I think results before midnight Wednesday.
Another test this morning - awaiting results.

AD80 · 16/12/2021 13:47

Dd was tested yesterday morning. Results at midnight so 14 hours ish.

Racingadmin · 16/12/2021 13:49

21 hours yesterday to this morning - in the south of England

InDubiousBattle · 16/12/2021 13:54

I had one on Monday at midday and got the result at 6am Wednesday morning, so 42 hours.

CalmDownBoris72 · 16/12/2021 14:04

We did them at 9:10 this morning and had an email with results at 13:10! So super quick turn around

usernotfound0000 · 16/12/2021 14:06

Tested 9am yesterday, results back at just after 10am today. They are usully under 24 hours where I am so a bit slower than normal.

That's impressive!

Posted Tuesday morning at a priority post box (collection at 11am).

According to tracking, it was still at a post office sorting office last night. It arrived at the test centre early this morning (Thursday).

Still waiting for text message/email result .

CelebrateAndDream · 16/12/2021 14:08

I'm hoping for a quick 'negative' too. Had my PCR at 11.10 this morning at a walk-in centre after getting a call off track and trace. Apparently I'm a 'close contact' of someone who tested positive on Saturday, so what I assumed was a rubbish cold this week might not be 🤦‍♀️

Fingers crossed 🤞
