Home test turn around time?

Anyone done one recently, how long until you got the results? Did one Monday posted for the 530pm pick up that evening. Still waiting. We are in southeast !

Yes!! My son and daughters came through at midnight but mine I'm still waiting for!! They were all posted 5.30 on Monday

Oh bless you! My ds has had a confirmed positive on Saturday and we were advised to take one in case but have no symptoms so far! Hope you feel better soon x

My son is fine but he isn't at school because I simply can't get him there. Fingers crossed we all hear soon

I've just been told negative results are received more slowly but that sounds like just a random theory to me lol

I'm not sure about the negative theory, as my daughter was positive and son, negative. So can't work out how they are organising it.

I phoned the 119 number. They said postal can be 72 hours

Can I join the waiting for postal results from Monday club? Also in the South East, Royal Mail tracking shows it got delivered late Monday evening. Nothing yet despite checking my phone every 3 minutes and trying to will the results email into existence.

I would also like to say I think it’s cruel when they email you a reminder to return the test as I always see the sender ‘coronavirus home testing’ and get my hopes up that’s it’s the result email. Every time.

I had the exact same with that email! 😂 yes the tracking says delivered to Gatwick at Monday midnight! I don’t know why I feel so anxious!!

No luck yet. They must have been delivered as my son and daughters came back. I don't know why mine hasn't been. This is our first ever set of pcrs, so wasn't aware of how long it would take. 😫

My mum did a postal last week and it was back the next day. It's not ideal

Still waiting on results from posting Monday here too, we're in the midlands.

Ours were precautionary as my DD had been a close contact last week, at this point it seems a bit of a wasted effort as contact was now over a week ago and my DD has no symptoms.

Three of us sent postal tests off the Sunday before last. We never got a result. It'd be irrelevant if we did now as it's over 10 days.

My husband got his results in the early hours! Still no sign of mine!

Posted Monday afternoon (South West) and email result rec’d early hours this morning (Thur) followed by text a few hours later. Positive.

I’ve just phoned to chase mine, they couldn’t help me as I was an idiot and threw the leaflet with the barcode away. The guy said that realistically if the results haven’t come within 72 hours they’re probably not going to come at all and to book a new test 😭😭

We sent my sons Tuesday morning will be positive as has a positive lft and only 3 in his class do not have it but nothing yet!!

I've just phoned to chase mine and they've raised an investigation but that could take 72 hours
