Deaths Due To PfizerVaccine?

roses2 · 17/08/2021 10:48

I've read a few posts on MN now that Pfizer has been rolled out to millions that the number of deaths caused by receiving the vaccine is not far off the AZ vaccine.

The press horrible about AZ and has really tainted its benefits whereas there is very little negative press about Pfizer.

Does anyone have any comparison (easy to read) data on deaths caused by the various vaccines and does anyone know why there is so little info on deaths caused by Pfizer (PR / lawyers working overtime on adverse media?!)

It's my understanding that the blood clot issue is similar in Pfizer than with AZ. Not sure why AZ has had all the bad press.

Sugarandtime · 17/08/2021 10:51

I’ve noticed that too.

Pinkpowderpuff · 17/08/2021 10:59

Where can I find data about deaths due to vaccines? I'm finding it very hard to locate info regarding incidences of possible side effects too apart from the obvious short term ones.

(Dated June)

SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine–Induced Immune Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia

"Additional cases have now been reported to the European Medicines Agency, including at least 169 possible cases of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis and 53 possible cases of splanchnic vein thrombosis among 34 million recipients of the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, 35 possible cases of central nervous system thrombosis among 54 million recipients of the Pfizer–BioNTech mRNA vaccine, and 5 possible (but unvetted) cases of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis among 4 million recipients of the Moderna mRNA vaccine. Six possible cases of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (with or without splanchnic vein thrombosis) have been reported among the more than 7 million recipients of the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen Ad26.COV2.S adenoviral vector vaccine. It must be emphasized that not all of these case reports have been subject to rigorous central review, nor have results of tests for anti-PF4 antibodies been reported; however, these numbers may be underestimates, since reporting is voluntary. "

Pinkpowderpuff · 17/08/2021 11:06

Is this the only thing people are dying of after receiving the vaccination?

roses2 · 17/08/2021 11:10

There aren't many articles available. Here is one Korea

koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/2021/05/24/national/socialAffairs/Pfizer-Vaccine-Death/20210524193400386.html
Since the vaccination program began on Feb. 26, a total of 153 cases of death after inoculation had been reported as of Monday, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA). Pfizer accounted for 93 cases and AstraZeneca 60.

The Pfizer PR team are doing a fine job keeping this out of the press. I can't see any other reason other than injunctions against the media on why it isn't more widely reported.

@Pinkpowderpuff
The MHRA Yellow Card Scheme lists the adverse reactions that people have reported although it’s said only a very small % of people report any reactions.

I assume it’s doctors that report the deaths on the scheme but it doesn’t list if the person died from say a blood clot,

ScarlettSunset · 17/08/2021 12:15

The MHRA yellow card vaccine summary pages gives he number of fatal reports for each vaccine.
Of course, this is only for the UK and things might be different elsewhere.

"Health authorities, however, explained that none of the deaths reported so far are related to the vaccinations."

From your article.

Is this the only thing people are dying of after receiving the vaccination?
The article linked to by the OP says no correlation has been found between the vaccine and the deaths other than the (mainly very elderly) people died of heart attacks, embolisms etc after being vaccinated. Not because of being vaccinated.
FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 13:56

This thread is freaking me out- I had the 1st dose after a massive psychological struggle. This doesn’t help…😢😢

Not saying the OP is incorrect to start the thread just the content doesn’t help.

I haven’t read through all the links etc but the title in itself freaks me out

Nerdygirl · 17/08/2021 14:12

I am the same @FeelingJittery1 and on 1 work project today we have 2 people badly affected with heart issue post vaccine . They have been told they will be on blood thinners for life and currently taking beta blockers too . They didn’t know despite being in hospital what yellow card reporting was ? How many more are we missing ?

ineedaholidaynow · 17/08/2021 14:15

And how many people have heart issues since having COVID?

Nerdygirl · 17/08/2021 14:17

Well it’s a big coincidence as on both occasions it’s 2 days after the vaccine. This is anecdotal yes but it should not be so easily dismissed

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 14:18

@Nerdygirl oh god😢 this is why I was so scared of having this vaccine

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 14:19

@Nerdygirl I’m 6 days post 1st dose 😢 really freaking out

Well done on having your first dose. You've taken a big step towards keeping yourself from getting seriously ill from Covid. That's a big deal. Vaccination is the best thing you can do to give you the best chance of avoiding serious illness and death from Covid.
Nerdygirl · 17/08/2021 14:23

@FeelingJittery1 I am also on only one dose. You have done it now, and haven’t had side effects so try and be calm. I am feeling the same and felt massively coerced into the first jab but did it to try and do the right thing . There are risks in everything but we need an open and honest debate about the risks in order to get the complete picture and this sort of discussion is not encouraged when it should be

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 14:25

@Nerdygirl how long are you post 1st dose?

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 14:26

@ScarlettSunset It was a massive step but not a happy/triumphant one

Nerdygirl · 17/08/2021 14:27

Almost 4 weeks

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 14:27

How long is the ‘danger’ zone?

roses2 · 17/08/2021 14:33

I'm sorry for posting this thread and freaking people out. I was more motivated by why AZ gets such bad press when the effects of Pfizer are not far off Blush

OP posts:
Nerdygirl · 17/08/2021 14:58

It’s not freaking people out . It’s good to ask these sorts of questions so we have the facts based on data and not political motivation or something

FeelingJittery1 · 17/08/2021 15:05

@roses2 it’s not you freaking me out/ it’s the vaccine
