Slightest chance, government will ignore JVC's advice and vaccine young ones? We'll know before conference though as vaccine minster making a statement soon.

If not, it'll be do what you want, but do it carefully otherwise we'll secretly panic when numbers get too high, and it'll be your fault when we have to bring back restrictions. If lack of distancing/face masks if causing you anxiety, go to shops at 6am, avoid public transport, don't live your life.

We have no plans to vaccinate teenagers but over the next few days it might become prudent for us to consider vaccinating teenagers?

...and then announcing that all legal restrictions on speed limits will be lifted because we can all assess the risk and make up our own minds about how fast to drive. Some people might die or be seriously injured, but....FREEDOM!!

I'm hoping it's just the JVT team talk and nothing new.

I think there'll be a small announcement about what they've decided about vaccinating teens (probably just offering vaccines to those who are vulnerable or live with someone vulnerable).

Several mentions of schools being on holiday so this is the right time to lift restrictions (ignoring the fact that schools in many regions have another week at school so loads of families will end up missing out on holidays etc as covid infections in those schools soar and close contacts have to isolate).

Reminder to be cautious and definite lack of mention of 'irreversible' or 'data not dates'. Gearing the masses up to the idea that if/when restrictions have to be brought in it will be our fault. Some mention of the changes to the travel guidance to remind us that this mess is all down to foreign travel and not an incompetent government.

I will tune in for JVT. Hope he has his pin stripe suit in! I have missed him.

Yet some scientists are saying there's evidence the vaccine stops children's immune system developing properly. No way in hell my almost 13 yr old Dd will be vaccinated. Nor my 9 yr old DS.

I want to know facts, of the people who died were they vaccinated, did they have underlying health conditions, what age were they etc etc
