Well not exactly going mad but I sense a trip to the cinema on the cards and a sneaky wagamamas and maybe a swift half.

Got to make the most of our freedom.
At least if it rains we can get inside.

I wonder if the pubs will have some music on.
I have missed that so much.

No I'm still going alfresco.
But you enjoy yourself! It's been a while coming.

gollymissdolly · 16/05/2021 22:12

I'm meeting a friend in town for afternoon tea.
I'll be using public transport for the first time in 16 months.

GooodMythicalMorning · 16/05/2021 22:13

I would be but im looking after the dogs, I might pop to the cafe down the road though.

pourmeanotherglass · 16/05/2021 22:15

Working tomorrow. May go out for pizza a week on Weds to celebrate DD1 last A level assessment.

WitchDancer · 16/05/2021 22:16

Yes really wild - I'm going into the office to see a client. I really know how to live it up Grin

shewalkslikerihanna · 16/05/2021 22:16

Thanks Petunia
Can’t believe I sat drinking a cup of tea outside a cafe in the drizzle on Saturday with no gazebo or anything over us

So sick of the misery.
We always sit outside in normal times as long as it’s not bitterly cold or raining
So am looking forward to having the choice again.

CRAZY. Going to work in an inside environment with 30 people, where there has been no masks or social distancing all along.

I might sit in the sauna at the gym after my swim though. Woop.

PicsInRed · 16/05/2021 22:17

I'm going to get a coffee, sit my ass down and take my mask off. INDOORS. I'm mad, me.

ChocOrange1 · 16/05/2021 22:18

Not that wild but I'm going to my favourite cafe for coffee and cake tomorrow. And visiting some family indoors at the weekend :)

LucyLocketsPocket · 16/05/2021 22:19

I am! Going on a mental all dayer. Can't wait!

schroeder · 16/05/2021 22:20

Hmm I hadn't thought about cafes. Maybe I will go for coffee and cake!!!! Everywhere will be madly busy I suppose.Hmm

PetuniaPot · 16/05/2021 22:20

I feel a bit wild visiting the garden centre these days.😂

Backofbeyond50 · 16/05/2021 22:20

Out for dinner Friday

StealthPolarBear · 16/05/2021 22:21

I'm going to hug my parents, if they want to.

shewalkslikerihanna · 16/05/2021 22:21

I imagine for the young ones it’ll be party time and I don’t blame them.
They’ve given up so much
My grandson is 18 in two weeks. Just completed A levels ...I think

So this will be his last hurrah in the town before uni

DH and I going out for dinner, inside! Can't wait. I've booked a visit to an art exhibition for later in the week, and I'll definitely be hitting a cafe at some point.

Livingintheclouds · 16/05/2021 22:24

I'm meeting some friends inside a cafe for breakfast after trying a few times to meet outside and people freezing. That's it really.

shewalkslikerihanna · 16/05/2021 22:27

I think my grandson has been the right age for this.
Proper GCSES and a prom and a leavers party down the beach in 2019
This covid year he had furlough for McDonald’s, then back to work for them , so plenty of social contact and money

I think he’s back in college for A levels and then lots of nice things to do over the summer.
Then im hoping he gets a good uni experience.

Friends round on Tuesday, visiting other friends Thursday and going to the horse racing on Friday. What a week Grin

Cakeofdoom · 16/05/2021 22:32

Work, gym, swim, sauna, visit friends' new baby, garden centre lunch every day this week because I bloody well can, dinner with friends on Saturday...i'm sure the novelty will wear off after a month

Bunnyrun5 · 16/05/2021 22:32

Sadly no still won’t feel safe till after 2nd jab and then minimum two weeks after that. I’m sounding like a party pooper hut people going mad again will likely start spreading virus again especially as we still don’t know enough about rate Indian variant is spreading. I can wait a bit longer.

Treaclepie19 · 16/05/2021 22:34

I'm not tomorrow but my birthday is this week and I'm definitely going for a fancy meal with my husband (and baby) while the oldest is at school.
