My two at secondary one CE just before Christmas. The rest of us not at all. Only my daughter has even had a covid test as routine when she stayed in hospital.

Dontstepinthecowpat · 09/02/2021 16:28

Weirdly none, family of 6, 4 kids at school/nursery (pre-lockdown) DH working out the home and I work on a Covid ward. Even with the app, and we did go out plenty for dinner and do things when we were allowed. I also shop in the supermarket weekly.

Crumpetycrump · 09/02/2021 16:28

Myself once, DD1 once, DD2 three times and DH never.

chocolateisavegetable · 09/02/2021 16:29

Twice - once because of a child at the school where I work, and once because of an adult at the school. I would have had to isolate a third time, if it wasn't for the fact that I was already isolating when another bubble that I'm in at school burst.

timetest · 09/02/2021 16:32

Yesterday was the last day of isolation for us. It was our 3rd time as we had to isolate for a period before DDs op which was twice cancelled on the day. I was really forward to going out just to do a food shop but we’re snowed in and can’t get off the drive,

Iheardit · 09/02/2021 16:32

None, pregnant from March-September. Have the app, but apart from food shopping every 10 days or so I don’t go anywhere

flappityflippers1 · 09/02/2021 16:34

First time here, just waiting on our test results.

MustBeTheWine · 09/02/2021 16:37

Only once when DC1 was symptomatic. We isolated for 4 days from start of symptoms to the negative test results.

poshme · 09/02/2021 16:45

Zero.

Family of 5.

MirandaWest · 09/02/2021 16:47

We did last April when DS was ill (don’t know what with of course). He had to in September when there was a case in school. He’s also had to self isolate for a few days over Christmas as he got notified through the NHS app.

Thinking about it it’s all been to do with him...

hennipenni · 09/02/2021 16:48

Family of 4, 3 times. 1st time when we travelled back to the uk, second time for 2 days whilst we waited for my daughters test results to come back (negative) 3rd time when I tested positive in January.

Gwenhwyfar · 09/02/2021 16:48

Never.
Had to stay away from work twice because of an indirect contact and a contact who got a negative test.

Scbchl · 09/02/2021 16:49

March last year when I had covid. Thats it.

JazzTheDog · 09/02/2021 16:51

Once when I had it, Community Nurse.

OverTheRubicon · 09/02/2021 16:51

We've isolated as a family twice for a few days while awaiting test results after one or more of us had coughs/temperatures, but both times were negative.

Then had one of the DCs isolating for 10 days after a contact at school tested positive.

LadyCatStark · 09/02/2021 16:52

None, family of 3 with 2 WFH and one child in high school (at home since January of course). We’ve done plenty of things within the rules but never come close to needing to self isolate.

happymummy12345 · 09/02/2021 16:52

None for any of us

HairyToity · 09/02/2021 16:53

Twice. Second time I had covid.

Flev · 09/02/2021 16:55

Once for less than 24hrs whilst waiting for a test result, which was negative.

Misstabithabean · 09/02/2021 17:03

4x - once in March for two weeks with a cough and 3x waiting for test results for self and family members (all negative so only isolated until test results were returned)

Workyticket · 09/02/2021 17:06

Two were app notifications one known, very close contact. Never had symptoms or a test

GintyMcGinty · 09/02/2021 17:07

Never

Unanananana · 09/02/2021 17:08

None for DS or I since the beginning. DD had to isolate for six days in November as a close contact at school. Our area had one of the highest rates in the country but we have stuck to guidelines.

I'm having regular asymptomatic tests and all have been negative so far. I don't know anyone that has had to isolate because of symptoms either.

99victoria · 09/02/2021 17:08

We haven't had to isolate at all. My youngest daughter did once when one of her friends tested positive but fortunately she didn't get it. My other daughter, who is a teacher, her husband and their 2 kids (one school age, one pre-schooler) haven't had to isolate at all either

MrsPear · 09/02/2021 17:12

Family of four. Kids went to school (still for one with ECHP). Only h has after he went to see his parents - I sent him to live at a friends empty flat for 2 weeks. The country he went too has had a terrible second wave.
