Are there any people that aren't clinically vulnerable/vulnerale taking the virus seriously?

It seems like there aren't enough people thinking "well I'm not vulnerable but I'm taking it all on board and think the pandemic is horrendous".

It's all quite soul destroying, the whole thing isn't it but I'm hoping that people are rising above the relentless boredom and realising that the restrictions are for a good cause.

I know a few people that think everything has been exagerated and before the stricter mask rules came in the other week, refused to wear one.

I'm vulnerable, but not extremely clinically vulnerable, and was wondering how many on here think it's all a waste of time because they don't think they're at risk?

Actually, no, I am not saying there isn't a virus, I do believe it exists; although it took some believing, as Tony Blair cried wolf about "weapons of mass destruction", and the media are always bleating about some impending disaster or other, such as your mobile phone or your shoes might be killing you. While the virus is undoubtedly a threat, I do think it is a very real and serious issue that the government is actively duping the public, giving themselves extreme power, making U-turn after U-turn because of lying in the first place, silencing anyone who deviates from their script, hushing up news of protests, encouraging the public to blame each other, refusing to admit that their beloved lockdown is having very grave consequences; and the fact that a large section of the public is swallowing all this hook, line and sinker, with barely a shred of protest, is absolutely terrifying. I would believe that the government genuinely cared about the public if they started TALKING about the forthcoming recession, apologising for their own chaos, and the destruction of business and mental health, but instead they keep distracting us with "VIRUS!!! VIRUS!!! VIRUS!!! LOCKDOWN!!! LOCKDOWN!!! LOCKDOWN!!!"; and they will keep on and on distracting us even when the legacy of lockdown rears its ugly head. I think this is a very big worry indeed.

I didnt take from that that it was a Covid denier at all. Just someone who doesn't believe the government's every word. Which is not unhealthy at all.

And I dont think mental health issues should be used as an insult

I’m not using it as an insult, I’m saying I really believe it must be a mental health issue! Please do not put words into my mouth. You have no idea about my experiences regarding mental health.

You wont because there isnt anything. Let's face it, if there was evidence it would be plastered across the front pages.

What you will find on the ons website is a drop in the percent positive of the new variant. In England.

Still proof of nothing but certainly doesnt support hysterical claims about transmission.
