It won’t be anything significant if it’s PP. they try to keep her under wraps as she can’t appear in public without making an error.
I think they bring out PP when the message is associated with the area she is in charge of. For example, tonight it is because they are announcing fines of £800 for people attending house parties during lockdown.

Why do people keep asking about booking summer holidays FFS? No one has a crystal ball. Anyone that books a foreign holiday should do it on the understanding that it may be cancelled, they may have to quarantine and they may have to have a covid test.

@BonnieDundee Totally agree with you. They've been consulting with the experts but then doing their own thing. I think it's disgusting that they've blamed the scientists for the Christmas mixing debacle amongst other things.

She's not meant to answer the questions. It's the same reason Johnson never answers questions in PQM.

In the summaries and future histories, people won't bother documenting the questions asked; they'll document what was said.
They're talking to History, not to us.

So it's another tokenistic policy- a slightly bigger fine for house parties. Not real justice, such as appearing before a magistrate and having your passport or driving licence removed if convicted. Or if a student, your course terminated.
