The thing about testing figures......my DD a careworker is tested 4 times a week 2 lateral flow tests ( 30 minute tests) and 2 of the other sort that's sent away. Do one person 4 tests multiply that by all careworkers getting 4 tests a week then that throws a different light on those numbers of people tested doesn't it?

And patients admitted is down 1.1% which will back up the case numbers dropping.

Deaths are still high but a smaller raise this week at 14.1%.

I would expect to see that lower next week and then begin to drop.

Re the testing being down I've just checked the data dashboard.

Tests are down 3.1% and cases down 23.6%.

So it looks like the test drop is expected drop alongside less people needing tests and cases are down by a far larger %.

I can't find the positivity rate if anyone has a link to that?

@itsgettingweird where we are the link that nhs staff were sent to get their vaccines booked electronically got forwarded on by complete morons and people used it left right and centre to get there vaccination booked into one of the clinics for staff! Disgusting behaviour!!! 😡😡 it worked as it was the same system you use to book your blood test etc!! They have started checking now thankfully now they know! I honestly can’t get my head around it!

Like fuck they are. Schools are not COVID secure, as teachers well know. And have been telling us.

I know. I work in a special school. They want those open as normal even though transmission/infection for those in them is 2 times higher than general population.
