Have had their vaccinations today, apparently at home in Windsor Castle.

OP posts:
whatayear20 · 09/01/2021 15:35

Good for them

Everleigh2021 · 09/01/2021 15:36

thats good news

Imiss2019 · 09/01/2021 15:37

Good. Sensible to do their’s at home. Can you imagine the extra costs and logistics and security if they’d had to go to the local surgery?

thatgingergirl · 09/01/2021 15:51

Two more ticked off the list. Good.

Jrobhatch29 · 09/01/2021 15:58

GreatSmile

Topseyt · 09/01/2021 16:01

Of course they were done at home. My parents are going to be done at home too in the next couple of weeks. They are almost the same age and extremely vulnerable.

No issue with this at all.

Sparklingbrook · 09/01/2021 16:05

What are we supposed to say?

PinkPiranha11 · 09/01/2021 16:06

Good. I love the Queen, she is ace and is more than entitled at her age. My DH’s nanna (87) is chuffed she got hers before the Queen though 😆.

Beecham · 09/01/2021 16:06

Good. Surprised it wasn't sooner given their ages. Philip is nearly 100!

user1493494961 · 09/01/2021 16:07

My 95 year old FIL has been offered his at home.

MarcelineMissouri · 09/01/2021 16:07

So happy to hear this!! They clearly fall into a top priority category so I’m only surprised it took this long for them to get it to be honest.

QueenOfTheDoubleWide · 09/01/2021 16:08

Excellent news!

DramaAlpaca · 09/01/2021 16:09

Good for them. My elderly parents got theirs yesterday, they are very pleased about it.

YesMeLady · 09/01/2021 16:10

Of course they had it at home. Where else would they go.

HmmSureJan · 09/01/2021 16:11

Good. I suspect though, that we are supposed to be annoyed and start ranting about a "work shy" privileged monarch who should he toppled etc etc

Sparklingbrook · 09/01/2021 16:11

@RuthTopp what are your feelings about this?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 09/01/2021 16:11

I imagine they didn’t do it too early because they didn’t want it to look like they were getting preferential treatment (one rule for us etc...). With over half of over-80s vaccinated now it should just help generate good publicity and help normalise people getting the jab.

Staffy1 · 09/01/2021 16:11

They are both ancient, so about time.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 09/01/2021 16:12

With Sparkling on this one.
I do hope you weren't trying to provoke outrage OP.Confused

Good and at home for their age isn’t unusual.

RedRosie · 09/01/2021 16:14

Great news. My very elderly parents were vaccinated yesterday and I cried with relief.

Ancient 😕
The Queen has more energy than a lot of people half her age and a fantastic work ethic .

Age is just a number .

Littlegoth · 09/01/2021 16:17

Good.
