No. Though someone randomly had a go at DH for not wearing one the other day. On a river walk, not busy at all 🙄

Passmeabottlemrjones · 28/12/2020 17:05

Full hazmat suit with own air supply every time I step outside the boundary of my house.

Anything less is just reckless.

GawdrestyeJerryMentlemen · 28/12/2020 17:05

Yes, always. I think we should.

Based on what?
kingat · 28/12/2020 17:07

No, tbh I dont understand why we wear them since July, clearly they are not helping

Why? I can’t remember the last time I was within 5m of someone outside, let alone 2m. What would a mask do, apart from be a virtue signal/performance?
TroubadorinTrouble · 28/12/2020 17:11

No. I occasionally leave it on if I go from one shop to another close by, but that’s just so I’m not taking it on and off all the time.

Why should we?

Anyone wanting me to wear a mask in the street, especially a quiet street, can bugger off.

If I had somehow ended up in an extremely crowded street then obviously I might think again, but I can't picture that happening anyway and I am not into big gatherings.

Even although it is extremely unlikely for the virus to spread outdoors?
AuntieMarys · 28/12/2020 17:14

God no

AwaAnBileYerHeid · 28/12/2020 17:14

In a busy street, yes. And most of the time outside at the moment, it's that cold that it keeps my face cosy!

keepmeawayfromthesherry · 28/12/2020 17:15

No

MedSchoolRat · 28/12/2020 17:17

Maybe if I'm shooting between shops, but not otherwise. The evidence is overwhelming that overwhelming majority % of transmission happens indoors not outside.

I don't stand close to people outside for more than 2 seconds (or inside, really).

I suppose if I worked outdoors leaning close to talk to people often, for instance in their cars (border control person?) I would mask up.

feesh · 28/12/2020 17:20

Yes, but I live in a country where it’s mandated.

MassiveSalad · 28/12/2020 17:21

No!

U8myufo · 28/12/2020 17:22

No I don't wear them outdoors at all.

S111n20 · 28/12/2020 17:25

No I don’t.

GawdrestyeJerryMentlemen · 28/12/2020 17:28

Be cause I pass people on the street, they pass me. Keeping 2 m away from others on our high st or at a bus stop is pretty well impossible. I don't want to infect and kill people.

GawdrestyeJerryMentlemen · 28/12/2020 17:29

Extremely unlikely to spread outdoors.. ??..why would you take the risk. This thing is mutating. I am not gambling with others' lives

Well it’s perfectly possible to stay at least 2m from people outdoors where I am.
PickAChew · 28/12/2020 17:31

Only if it's busy and I'm going between shops. Not if I have roads to cross, though, as my glasses steam up and I can't see the traffic. Rather more dangerous than the chances of catching covid in the open air.

TimeForLunch · 28/12/2020 17:31

No, never outside.

GawdrestyeJerryMentlemen · 28/12/2020 17:31

Virtue signal. I literally am flabbergasted. What a bunch of twats!! You now in Asia they don't just wear masks inside or keep taking them on and off. Why should we!?

You clearly have absolutely no understanding of scientific evidence. The risk outdoors is minuscule.

Viruses mutate all the time. There no special new significance to “this thing mutating”.

Lulu1919 · 28/12/2020 17:32

Yes in a busy outside area ie shops or markets
On a beach or countryside walk ..no
