GroundAlmonds, good God, woman, I'm not Southern! I'm Irish. And as Kier is a Cetic name, that's how it should really be pronounced. Like Kieran which is properly spelled as Ciaran. Care/en. Kiera should be spelled Ciara and pronounced Care/a.

Beer has only one syllable in my accent. So does mirror.

Bare &bear sound the same and rhyme with care, hair, fare. Beer has a longer vowel sound and rhymes which tier, leer, mere & weir.

Can we all play guess the accent from these descriptions? It’ll be more fun than this press conference.
