I’m on CPAP - please help me survive hell

I’m on CPAP. Everyone is doing their best to keep me alive but I feel traumatised. Family and friends are still asleep. Is anyone there to talk to me?

I think people need to hear from people like you to realise the severity of the situation.

Thank you lovelies. I’m happy for people to pray for me - no problem. I’m not religious, but not anti- religious either. I’ll tske help from wherever it comes 💐

No sleeping drugs yet. Anyone have a poisoned apple? Or perhaps a spinning wheel lying around?

Oh and about Meatloaf. I’ve seen him twice in concert. Once - back in the day. Late 70s early 80s - Bat out of Hell concert. Absolutely thrilling.

DH and I saw him in the last few years. He was a broken man - couldn’t sing at all. A trade guy to watch. But do much live and gratitude towards him and his music in the room. It was carried through. Poor guy

DH and I were booked to see Adam Lambert and Queen. We were so excited about it. Obviously cancelled. I reckon it will be cancelled again this yeat

I agree completely with your sentiment. My DH is currently on the covid ward on oxygen. It's a bloody awful virus. It is completely random who suffers the worst with it as well.

Oh that’s a difficult one . Saw Police at uni. Levi’s Costello. Queen is probably up there. The amazing magical Freddie.

We aren’t great concert goers now. I’m not a great fan of crowds.

Hi OP just read your post about Meatloaf and it brought happy memories of seeing him on the same tour. The love for him was amazing. I saw it in Cardiff with my late husband 😞♥️

Poor you, it sounds like it should be called CCRAP. My Dad had it in hospital for a while and hated it. My mum also had it in July but she was ok with it and managed to sleep. I'm sure you're googling it already but here's a helpful article

Just to say that the audiobook of the Thursday Murder Club kept me going through a recent sleepless hospital stay. I dozed a little and relistened where needed. Gentle harmless cheer.

Hi LittleSpy, just dropping in again to wish you well, and delighted to hear there's been some improvement and you've got some kip.

For my sleepless nights (and there are many) I rely on the World Service and YouTube. I dont know if you get the chance to watch stuff online? My friend got the use of an iPad holder in hospital when she was too weak to hold hers, but felt like keeping in touch or watching TV.
