I like JVT a lot, he is usually very clear and genuine-sounding but his analogies are a bit wonky today.

JVT spends much of his time saying... One swallow, nowhere near a summer, first step; very promising but not yet an effective vaccine; not been out through all of its paces yet, we don't know what it will do; lots of football penalities, trains slowing safely for disembarkation at a sunny place full of fully regulated vaccines.

Listening to him it becomes clear that this podium visit is for JVT to pour luke warm water over the international media hype about the Pfizer news.

He had been absolutely unequivocal. As usual we I doubt any meeja hack will fuck around with anything he said!
