Living in Hampshire. I'm particularly amazed about DS1 as he attends a huge college and uses trains to get there

East of England primary school, low incidence area, no isolations yet for my children this term (we isolated over summer holidays a couple of times as symptomatic but tests were negative). Headteacher announced on Friday in newsletter no positive cases in school this term, yet. That said apparently the school up the road is shutting 6 out of 7 bubbles from today so there are definitely cases about!

Dc are at 2 schools. Secondary school has had 4 positive cases all in year 8 and primary hasn't had any. We've been very lucky so far.

Y11 DD - 1 - This was the only case so far in her school.

Y6 DD - 0 - Her school has had two cases so far.

My school has had two case so far both in Y12.

FrangipaniBlue · 08/11/2020 19:58

NW (Cumbria)

DS y8 - once

Up to half term there were only 3 confirmed cases out of 1,400 pupils (plus however many staff)

Ignoringequally · 08/11/2020 19:59

Yr 2- 1 (teacher tested positive)
Yr 1- 0

Both had far more teaching than they had from March to June though, so it’s a win.
