How much are you drinking?

I have a couple of glasses of wine on a Friday Saturday and Sunday night sometimes I can finish a bottle one night 😬 🤪 It's something to enjoy and look forward to of an evening whilst watching the tv in these current times 🤣
How much alcohol is everyone drinking at the moment? Honestly 😆

Just one or two drinks, g and t, beer or wine. That hasn’t changed from before lockdown.

No, every week. That would have been useful information!

I’ve given up! Last lockdown I was guzzling it back, it was terrible. So I’m going to be sober and smug this time round.

2 glasses of wine twice a week generally. Sometimes less. Slightly more than before lockdown, which would have been 2 glasses once a week.

Same as ever. Small glass of wine most nights, with a couple of nights off midweek, but an extra glass on Friday and Saturday. So just over one bottle of wine a week.

First lockdown got a bit out of hand with the warm weather the bottles of sol went down far too easily, that first recycling collection was rather embarrassing now its mainly not on a school night except for a Sunday when it's mandatory to pour the first glass of wine as I start to peel the spuds

You must have very small wine glasses if that only equates to just over 1 bottle the whole week, what do you use, egg cups?

Goodness, only a small sherry every alternate Easter.

Also I change my towels thrice daily.

Pre COVID my usual pattern would maybe be 1 glass of wine on a Friday night (or none) and then 1-3 glasses on Saturday. These days it’s 1-2 glasses on a Friday, 2–3 glasses on a Saturday and maybe 1-2 glasses on a Sunday.... basically I’ve gone from drinking 1 bottle over the weekend to 2 bottles over the weekend. I have managed to stick to not drinking Mon-Thur though (except for the beginning of lockdown no.1 when I was just drinking most nights!!)

Having 30 days dry! At first I thought what bad timing. But given how much I drank at the start of the last lockdown (which was very different tbh), I'm really glad I'd started this just before the announcement was made.

Taking 4 weeks lockdown as a good time to have a month off the booze completely. I drank far too much last time and did not want to slide back into it. So as of Nov 1st, nothing.

I'm low carbing so went cold turkey for a couple of weeks and now will stick to weekends having a glass or 2.

It got too regular throughout the Summer and felt my face looked bloated and blotchy.

Nothing at all. I used to have a cider around weekends, but I want to be 100% sober at all times now, I mean in driving conditions. I think it is the pending doom, in case something happens I can drive my family at all times, any emergencies.....
I wish I could unwind a bit.

Sometimes nothing, sometimes too much. Had a bottle last Friday.. and on almost finished a bottle tonight.

None at all. Not because I'm a saint (and I change the towels whenever I remember) but because I'm a social drinker so parties,nights out, at friends houses etc. Since that isn't happening,neither is the drinking.

More than you. Less than any in other threads.

Of course it's mandatory on a Sunday when cooking a roasty 😁

I get through about 3 bottles of wine a week.

Nothing - I'm pregnant. Craving a glass of red wine so very badly though! Reading your responses with jealousy - enjoy
