Anybody currently waiting on a test result?

I went to a drive thru test centre yesterday so I'm home and self isolating until I get the results.

Anybody else?

Well Boots claim they can return results in 12 minutes!

The Boots tests aren't rolled out yet.

How does 97% accuracy compare with NHS/Serco/Deliotte ones, does anyone know?

Negative. Came back in 26 hours, had test in drive-through. So pleased for the kids as it’s halfterm.

I’m about to give up 🙄 75 hours! Just because I caught DS’s cold.

We finally got a result yesterday after 128 hours! 

@dollychopss it was an admin error that caused the delay.

I would urge people to chase if no result received - it turned out that ours went wrong because somehow the actual test barcode and my DDs QR code hadn't married up correctly.
Once we spoke to someone who knew what they were talking about (2nd attempt) we had the result in less than a minute once he connected the 2 codes

Huzzah, DS's negative test result came through at 4am this morning - 68 hours. We can go to the beach! All the best to those still waiting, and particularly to those who have got positives - hoping you have a swift recovery.

36 hours here in Somerset for me. Negative thankfully.

Which is good as we are doing first part of a two stage house move from tomorrow. Was going to be a bit of a nightmare otherwise!

Mine came through this morning. Negative. 2.5 days.

I would give the 119 number a ring RevIMJolly given what pps have said about admin errors and delays.

Has anybody had experience of results coming back at different times for people of same household tested at the same time? All of us got tested at 3.30pm on Sunday. DH result (negative) came back last night at 9.30pm but awaiting results for myself and our two children.

Came through 6am, positive. Gah.

I know it's only a few days but we're an active family, it's driven us mad staying in this weekend. Making up for it now haha.

Coming up to 48 hours waiting here from DS’s test in a drive in. So utterly depressed as we are supposed to be going to the coast on Thurs. I can totally see now why people don’t comply. I am on the verge of just saying fuck this.

I got my results in 13 hours yesterday, I was astonished! Test at 11am. Results at midnight! Negative ..

Now over 48 hours here and only 1 out of the 4 family results back, thankfully negative. Can’t believe we aren’t “allowed” to chase up until we’ve been waiting for 5 days 🤷‍♀️ Getting annoyed. Shaping up to be a very rubbish half term.

It has now been 4 days. I've managed to lose the bar code, so I'm not sure that I can even check the reults...

I have two family members waiting for results. Does anyone know if the emails/texts can arrive at anytime of the day or night or are they not sent overnight?
