Anybody currently waiting on a test result?

I went to a drive thru test centre yesterday so I'm home and self isolating until I get the results.

Anybody else?

DP had a drive though test yesterday at 9am, currently waiting for the result. High temp and feeling flu like with sore throat but so far no cough or loss of smell/taste

Ooh that’s good news - I’m in Scotland and my postal test was delivered yesterday morning. I really could do with knowing ASAP so I know wether to do a morrisons order for a tiny top up shop and have to spend £40 or can go to the shops tonight!!

My dd's result came back after 19hrs, DS's took 24hrs. Both positive.

My SIL's took 6 days...

Hi - I'm feeling rather foolish here, but can anyone tell me if you got your test results by text AND e-mail please?

I have a very old useless phone. I was woken up by a message beep, thought I saw something that looked like a test result on the screen and then it disappeared. I can't find it at all now. I haven't had an e-mail.

I sometimes suffer from sleep paralysis and very, very, very occasionally hallucinations upon waking - especially when stressed.

Can someone show me a screenshot of what the results screen looks like please - to stop me feeling like I'm going crazy.

Thanks TabbyStar. I've just spoken to 119 and was told I would have got an email too. I'm now feeling massively embarrassed. I haven't had such a realistic dream for many years.

I'm not even massively concerned about health issues - but there wider implications if the test is positive - as I'm sure there are with most people.

We got two texts and an email at exactly the same time both times.

If you're unfortunate enough to be positive, you'll then get a hundred bloody phone calls from Track and Trace. They certainly keep an eye on you.

Have you got the track and trace app? There's a glitch on it where some people get what looks like a Covid notification flash up but then it disappears. Could be that.

I was tested at 10.30am yesterday (Drive in centre in Leeds) and still waiting. Really hoping I get the result by tonight/early tomorrow morning as DP has a big day at work tomorrow but is obviously having to isolate with me. Ideally in the next few hours would be nice as we had a lot of errands to do this weekend so it would be nice to still get a few done this afternoon! I developed a cough Friday night, was still coughing a lot yesterday morning when I booked the test but typically I've barely coughed since I had the test and feel fine!!

No I don't have the app as my phone is too old. But that is very interesting. I wonder if it happens without the app.

I got an email at just after midnight but the text didn’t come until 6am. Positive. Result time from test to email was 34 hours from a walk in site. We are South Yorkshire

Just received my result - negative. Took about 50 hours - south east.

Still waiting. 123 hours so far. Confused (Essex area)

Woman on the phone when we rang to chase didn't fill me with confidence that we'll get it any time soon either. Just said 'we'll send an email' Hmm
