Just seeing if anybody would go along with it.

Lol. Yeah that sounds reasonable. Giving your husband a blow job wearing a mask? Would that be exempt or would you cut a hole in it??!

mummyof4kids · 10/10/2020 12:24

Not a chance! I wear one when I go out but I definitely wouldn't be wearing one in my own home.
Nope, just no fuck that

Yes in certain circumstances. Obviously not when it's just me and my family here but I've had a couple of tradesmen out recently and if they asked me to wear a mask in their presence I would do. Similarly if I had a cleaner and they asked me to I would.

StealthPolarBear · 10/10/2020 12:26

No and while I don't think it would ever come to that, there are plenty of things happening now I'd have been shocked to think would be law a year ago

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 10/10/2020 12:27

@Itsabeautifuldayheyhey

Surely no one with any common sense would allow the government to tell them what they wear in their own home! Oh ffs, as if any Govt would ask this of their citizens. It was just a hypothetical question by the OP.
FFS I know that and my reply stands having read some of the posts on MN over the last few months.
PrimalLass · 10/10/2020 12:27

Absolutely not.

awesomeaircraft · 10/10/2020 12:28

I wore one while in isolation with a cv19 positive family member at home. Also kept windows open, separate towels, etc.

I would not wear one for no reason, but I would if one of us has it again.

JamminDoughnuts · 10/10/2020 12:28

why would you?

Dazedandconfused10 · 10/10/2020 12:28

I live alone. It would be pointless

GhostTypeEevee · 10/10/2020 12:31

When I've had a workman in to check my boiler I offered to wear a mask (he was already wearing one)

JamminDoughnuts · 10/10/2020 12:31

the advice if you are covid positive was to isolate yourself and when in contact with household to wear a mask,
so in that situation it is worth it

Kljnmw3459 · 10/10/2020 12:32

No.

DumplingsAndStew · 10/10/2020 12:32

@SimonJT

When we kiss, share a bed, often share a toothbrush and have sex then I’m sure wearing a mask at home would be extremely useful.
Why do you often share a toothbrush with members of your household?

There'd be no point for us, we'd be sleeping in the same bed, using the same bathroom etc.

Sharing a toothbrush is my idea of hell. I don't know if I'm impressed at your dedication or horrified Grin
StealthPolarBear · 10/10/2020 12:33

I'm guessing he means Eg if they go away and one person forgets. Not just ooh can I use the green one tonight

OpheliasCrayon · 10/10/2020 12:36

Oh my days I'm not dignifying this with an answer.

I have no issues with masks I wear one at work all day but come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ApolloandDaphne · 10/10/2020 12:39

Absolutely not. There is just the two of us and we share a bed. It would be pointless.

WoodenFox · 10/10/2020 12:41

Nope

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 10/10/2020 12:43

How would it be enforced?

And no, I wouldn't.

Roselilly36 · 10/10/2020 12:45

Don’t be daft, why would anyone do that?

coffeeabdteav · 10/10/2020 12:47

Actually to be fair. My Mother lives with us . When ill I wore a mask to go into the kitchen.
With husband and child though. Nope.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 10/10/2020 12:47

@3littlewords

Anyone who would comply with that are stupid enough to drink their own piss if the government told them too!
Grin

There will always be someone prepared to raise their glass and say "Cheers!"

And then report their neighbour for not complying.
