Waiting for a test result is torture

No exaggeration.
It’s worse than waiting to hear from a job interview or For a text after a date.
I’m checking my email every minute to see whether any of us are allowed out the house tomorrow.
I’m so impatient!!!!!!

I really feel for you. I ordered a postal one for ds that didn’t arrive. We all got symptoms and got tested yesterday. Just had a drink and I can’t taste it or smell anything 😳😳 fuuuuuuuck

@TheQueef oh what? What the fudge is going on up there? I’m sorry to hear your update. No update for us as yet, I have a feeling it will go the same way. To add insult to injury, I’m now having to inject daily anticoagulants due to being stuck on my bed all week :( (pre existing condition) ... fuuuuuuuuudggge😢😢😢😢

I felt guilty calling Self I don't have small children, not a teacher, classed as a key worker but don't have any public facing or exposed roles.
The lass was lovely and really tried to help and my symptoms were suitably loud I also got earache today pschosomatic they were unconvinced by the isolation thing too.

Result in. Negative. whew!

I’m starting to worry now with our tests being at Glasgow labs too! My DS has missed a whole week of school now 😩

Bloody eck Zee when is his 14 days up? Just in time for holiday?

No update here. I called them again today and they said that if we don’t hear from them within 3 days of escalation, then to just assume the tests lost. This is so bad. Neither myself nor DD have results and as you know, individual tests are packaged and sent separately. When we’re in London, why they have to go to Glasgow is beyond me. Probably privatised and money to be made. Are you hopeful that you will still eventually get the results @TheQueef ?

@TheQueef 14 days will take us to the 19th he will get a few days before half term

@selfishjeanss I’m in Cheshire and don’t understand why our test had to come from and be sent to Glasgow either 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel your pain, having DC in the mix must be so stressful.
Just sat waiting and watching conjuring up in my case for any new symptom of clue!
I'm itching to call back but I know it's unreasonable.
I've eaten a jar of lemon curd with a spoon today, that 'their' fault too.

I'm in South Yorkshire so Glasgow must be the hub.

Just dropping in to update... we still have not received our test results which were received at the Glasgow laboratory 6 days ago (11 a.m 04.10). Very interested to hear if this happened to anyone besides myself and Queef. 99.9% sure my result would have been positive.

@selfishjeanss we received our results today there is another thread with people who have sent there’s tests to Glasgow and a lot of of the others on there received Results today Too
