Would you have the vaccine...

Just curious. Yes or no is fine.

If the vaccine against Covid19 was offered to you would you have it?

I'm not an anti vaccinations at all ( though I don't take my dog for boosters and do a titre test to check his immunity) but I don't feel like there would be enough testing done on a rushed vaccine. It would be hard one in our little household as DH is totally for it and I'm totally against at moment! We're not in a vulnerable/shielding group, both early 40's with a teenager. Both keyworkers but not on frontline.

yes.

Letseatgrandma · 02/08/2020 14:59

I don’t know. I am 100% pro vaccinations but I simply do not trust our government at the moment not to cock this up.

MissConductUS · 02/08/2020 15:00

I've volunteered for the phase three clinical trials, so yes. With bells on.

Coriandersucks · 02/08/2020 15:00

Nope. I don’t have the normal flu vaccine either.

lunar1 · 02/08/2020 15:00

Yes. I would prefer that it was the Oxford one to be honest. Chances are DH will be one of the first waves to get it as he is NHS frontline and high risk. I'd be nervous, but we will have it.

Billyjoearmstrong · 02/08/2020 15:02

No.

awesomeaircraft · 02/08/2020 15:03

Yes. Same as @lunar1. I also have the flu jab every year (asthma). I had the pneumonia one too as I had pneumonia a few years back and I would do anything to not relive that.

PurpleDaisies · 02/08/2020 15:04

Yes.

bengalcat · 02/08/2020 15:05

Yes - work in the NHS so guess will be ‘ first in line ‘ along with the standard flu vaccine - will pay for DH and DD ( at uni ) to have it .

Floralnomad · 02/08/2020 15:05

Yes

user1497207191 · 02/08/2020 15:07

Yes, we need to get back to normal.

Crunched · 02/08/2020 15:07

Yes, but I am 50 so, if there are long term health implications in 35 years, so be it.
I will encourage my, young adult, DC to consider waiting for a while.

Srictlybakeoff · 02/08/2020 15:08

Yes . And have also volunteered for phase 3 trials.

WalesAppearsToBeSlightlySaner · 02/08/2020 15:09

Yes. I offered to be in the trials but I’m not exposed enough to help

Purplewithred · 02/08/2020 15:09

FluffyKittensinabasket · 02/08/2020 15:14

Yes

Sunshinegirl82 · 02/08/2020 15:28

I volunteered for the trials, I'd have it tomorrow.

2pinkginsplease · 02/08/2020 15:30

No I think it’s being rushed though and not had enough time to test it!

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 02/08/2020 15:32

Yes - for those saying they don't trust the government, they haven't made the vaccine. It's made and tested by scientists

chinam · 02/08/2020 15:35

Yes.

FourTeaFallOut · 02/08/2020 15:36

In a heartbeat.
