Saw the previous thread is almost full. Hope I've not duplicated a new thread! And I might not be the best person to be custodian of this one, so feel free someone else to start a replacement and I'll get this deleted. Otherwise -

Here we all are, at least 56 days plus 😕

Anyone else still feels like the breathing not right? I feel like if that went I’d be fine. Runny tummy and nausea in the morning I can deal with. I’m into day 80 odd now.

alittleprivacy · 28/05/2020 18:38

@hollieberrie Did you tell your GP about your positive antibody test? GERD is quite commonly caused by a virus. No reason for Covid to be magically different!

I’m on Pantaflux. It’s worked great after just 2 days. However it has caused some constipation so I’m not taking it today. My tablets are very strong so I’ll take a half dose tomorrow. (And some milk of magnesium tonight!)

alittleprivacy · 28/05/2020 18:40

Magnesia!

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 18:46

@Moodgie That's how I feel... breathing and the slightest niggle in my gut. Can you describe the breathing sensation?

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 18:51

@andslee Difficult to describe, like something in my throat/windpipe - slightly constricted feeling.
You?

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 18:57

@moodgie... yeah. Back of throat and sinuses. Just. Odd. Like your breath is being delayed in the back of your throat. Sinuses are involved, but can't explain how...

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 19:00

@alittleprivacy
After your one word post, I was so tempted to follow on immediately with "Lambada!"

bows head in shame :)

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 19:26

@andslee How many days are you? I’ve had this for a while now, on and off.

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 19:32

@moodgie 70 days...

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 19:39

@andslee I’m in my eighties from the initial sore throat.

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 19:44

@moodgie My start was simply a strange feeling. Like as if I was being pushed into the ground...

fedupofbed · 28/05/2020 20:22

I just made it downstairs and in the garden to clap for NHS for the first time. Every other week since it began I've been too ill and only able to clap from my bedroom window. My neighbours were so lovely and encouraging, it was really emotional.

I'm sure there'll be relapses but I'm just so happy right now and enjoying feeling stronger today.

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 20:41

@fedupofbed That is so lovely, so pleased for you.

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 20:43

@fedupofbed
Flowers - clapping for you too!

Egghead68 · 28/05/2020 20:58

👏 @fedupofbed!!

KatySun · 28/05/2020 20:59

fedupofbed that is lovely, well done you!

Mytimetogo · 28/05/2020 21:22

Evening! Well aren't we the lucky ones?!!!!

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 21:23

@andslee I’m wondering if it is some sensitivity or something muscular going into spasm in there. My X-ray lasts week was clear.

Egghead68 · 28/05/2020 21:31

@Mytimetogo I think it’s much higher in some places - they estimated 17% of Londoners had antibodies a few weeks ago.

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 21:32

@moodgie
That is exactly what I have been wondering. I am going to try chewing gum tomorrow. Did you say you still have gastric issues? You mentioned runs in the morning. Do you have reflux?

Mytimetogo · 28/05/2020 21:37

@whatnext2018 I've had the numbness in my nose and lips. I was told by my GP that it was 'overbreathing' (hyperventilation) and because there's a lack of Co2 in the body.

Last week I had a horrible scare with my head/mind. Remember those old TVs that you had to push a button to change the channel? And the button sort of clunked and the picture fizzed in and fizzed out? That's what my forehead felt like for 3 days, especially when I tried to remember something. It literally fizzed and flashed. A physical sensation followed by dizziness. Scary as hell. I was told it was classic anxiety and I referred myself for MH support this week.

Anyone else noticed cold pinkies? Or more floaters? Or sharp noises in the ears?

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 21:52

@AndsLee it’s not quite the lump in the throat sensation but it may be a similar thing.
I wake up and feel nauseous and go to the toilet (not quite diarrhoea but loose).

Moodgie · 28/05/2020 22:00

@andslee I don’t have reflux but the nausea makes me wonder if it is related to it as it’s after being horizontal all night.

AndsLee · 28/05/2020 22:01

@moodgie

I'm inclined to think something similar... After months of this, perhaps we have developed a "thing". I haven't had an xray, but my bloods were fine. Taken on 4th May...
