Here we all are, at least 56 days plus 😕

Anyone who lost their sense of smell/taste find it totally disappears occasionally? I'm at about 20% still but randomly it disappears again and I can't smell at all again for a few hours. Most things still have a tang of off milk/fire smoke, too. Nothing smells like it used to.

@AndsLee Yes, I had 2 lots of blood too. And an ECG. It just feels like it all went haywire and doesn’t know how to get back on track.

@Mytimetogo Lack of oxygen 😬I pretty much constantly check my levels, it’s been lowest 92, but thankfully didn’t stay there too long. Ranges between 93-100, average I’d say-95/96, which probably could be better.
It happened late last night and lasted a while, I thought I might be having a panic attack, was still numb this morning when I woke up, felt the same again for around an hour.
I’m not sure if I’m having strange anxiety attacks or if it’s something more.
Managed to go out for a nice walk before, all was ok but on the way back I started to feel dizzy, sat at home, huge dizzy thing and kind of felt strange and not with it again. Dp wanted us to go to hospital. I waited until it passed and feeling bit better now, still v dizzy, sore around neck and sinuses killing.
I hate these strange episodes and it’s causing stress in the house as dp is worried sick and I always feel we’re on the verge of going to the hospital.
Can sinus pain cause extreme dizziness 🤷‍♀️

@Mytimetogo dsis has what sounds like a weird ocular migraine. Her vision in one eye had loads of flashing in it and sometimes it goes completely and she’s blind in that eye for a bit. The emergency optician said she’d seen in it post covid patients, the goo in the eyes solidifies slightly and then lumps cause vision problems
It does heal itself in time but it’s scary.

I can’t cope with sudden noises, it’s like cymbals crashing in my brain.

I’m feeling a bit better today, I think it’s largely due to the beta blockers. I managed to water the garden. And I talked whilst standing up too.
Friends are starting to meet a bit in each other’s gardens. I’m beginning to feel like the world is going to start overtaking me and I will be left behind. I overdid it by standing in a supermarket foyer for ten minutes.

@Mytimetogo Yes to loss of smell. I hadn't noticed this at all originally, but the other day I noticed it - found it totally weird.
I've just completed a covid home yest for active virus, I was asked to take a test by the Imperial study app. Being collected by courier tomorrow. Do not expect it to be positive ...

Not having a good evening.
Every time I stand I get a headache and sweat so I thought I would do my blood pressure while standing to see if it's raising and omg.... It went to 133 over 101
When lying down it goes back to normal.
Now and really really anxious about it and my acid reflux is awful and I ended up with diarrhea with nerves.
I'm going to ring the doctors in the morning.

Day 69/70. Sinus pain, chest pain and fatigue. I think I’m definitely having a mild relapse. Cursing myself for overdoing it a few days ago.

I hope the doctor is helpful @ofwarren.

@ofwarren, hope you managed some sleep. That bp reading isn't dangerously high so try not to worry. Hopefully it will reduce when you relax and rest. Mine was 147/102 for the first few days and has been up and down since. GP wasn't remotely concerned.

Mytime that is wierd. Both me and my DC who have had it have been occasionally smelling ‘smoke’, but there hasn’t been any smoke source when we checked. I’m always surprised by this virus and its weird effects but hadn’t put that together with it.
everyone having a hard time with it. I hope today is a better day.

Week ten now - my GP has prescribed me Doxycycline in case of a secondary chest infection. Only on day 2 and not sure if it is helping. My chest is still painful across the back and at heart level and I still find it difficult to take full breaths. My arms and feet are also sore. But on balance I think week on week I am improving slowly.

I have days where I think life as I knew it has disappeared between this illness and DC only returning part-time to school in August (I am a single parent and I work full-time so this will require some adjustments even with being able to work from home). Other days I feel more positive that I will get my health back and be able to cope. Let’s see.

That's really reassuring about the blood pressure. My monitor told me to contact a Dr so I was a bit 😳
Just trying to ring the GP now but it's engaged.
I woke up with a headache. It's been here on and off for days now.
The anxiety gets to me when I have any heart or chest symptoms so then I find it hard to settle it. I did a relaxation exercise on YouTube and manage to get my BPM down to 75 and then went to sleep.

The doctor wants me to go in. I must admit, I'm nervous as we have been shielding and not been out.
I'm dreading it as I will have to walk as we don't have a car and its in the town centre. It's not far but there will be people.... Urgh

@fishflakes - I kept smelling burning or sulphur when there was no feasible source. So frickking weird!

@ofwarren, do you have masks and gloves? I'd go - at least you'll be examined and hopefully everything will be okay.

@Lightsabre yes I have proper FFP3 masks with the filter, gloves and goggles.

Yes to smelling burning and sulphur! I’ve been cursing non-specified “people” for smoking near my open window or having bbq’s but now I think of it, who is standing smoking in the street or having a balcony bbq?
Also I quit smoking 6 months ago but in the last few weeks I’m being driven crazy by lingering smoke smells which I’d got rid of a few months ago.

Yes here to smell of burning too! Could never quite put my finger on the smell, sort of like singed hair.

@fedupofbed Thank you 💐 after the dizziness episode last night, I can’t takr much more so have booked to see a different doctor, hopefully he’ll be more helpful. I’ll take my test results to show him. I keep getting stressy that I actually have something brain/head related. The back of my neck and shoulders just so sort of full and my main issues are sinuses hurting and numb cheeks and lips etc, alongside the dizziness..Google doesn’t say good things about this! Not sure what’s going on as how is diarreah involved 🤷‍♀️I feel like there’s possibly three different things going on? Muscular perhaps in upper back and legs and neck, possibly sinus infection, maybe gastric infection..but none of it explains the numb lips and mouth etc..I’m hoping he’ll at least prescribe something for that and the dizziness, then I can hopefully be a bit calmer.

I’m back again after a break of a few days, it’s day 108 now. I still get a low level fever almost every afternoon, but it spikes and then comes down again. I get very breathless and sweaty when I try to get up and about, so I’m limited in what I can do, which is getting me down. I also still have a lot of chest pain and nasty coughing fits.

On a more positive note, the puking has cleared up finally, it appears.

How is everyone else doing?

I have such an anxious feeling in my chest and I don't know if it's psychological or not. I've asked to increase my antidepressant as its relentless. I still feel a bit sick, particularly at the thought of eating and really jittery.
