Why can't he just answer a question straight?
And also if you have children did he just suggest you tell your employer and stay home? That is not going to go down well!

He’s very lucky to have them there.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 11/05/2020 19:35

Covid clearly saw the error of its ways and decided to let him live for the greater good of viruskind.

practicallyperfectwithprosecco · 11/05/2020 19:35

In case you needed clarification I saw this on Facebook earlier

Best decision they made was to get Whitty and Vallance up there with him.

BuffaloCauliflower · 11/05/2020 19:35

He comes across as a bumbling idiot, not exactly confidence inspiring. He needs to direct employers that they must be flexible, but he won’t

JamieLeeCurtains · 11/05/2020 19:36

Embarrassing. What an absolute tool.

SquitMcJit · 11/05/2020 19:37

Why on earth did BBC1 drop the coverage and move it to BBC News channel instead?!

TinySleepThief · 11/05/2020 19:37

It's painful to listen to he's like a first year university student trying to bumble their way to the word count. How can anyone think he is clear or concise with his messages.

TJH130 · 11/05/2020 19:39

@SquitMcJit probably realised it was a waste of broadcast time.

TinySleepThief · 11/05/2020 19:39

Why on earth did BBC1 drop the coverage and move it to BBC News channel instead?!

I've no idea surely this is literally the most important thing going on in England right now so it should be covered live on the BBC main channel until he has finished?

PlayinMay · 11/05/2020 19:39

Thank Christ Keir will (or should) be able to put the pressure on a bit in terms of being a barrister and PMQ.

SquitMcJit · 11/05/2020 19:39

😂

Iwannatellyouastory · 11/05/2020 19:40

It’s so bad I think something else is going on
Anyone else thinking that he is still unwell? He can’t seem to get his words out or focus.

Patterjack · 11/05/2020 19:40

What's the point in asking for questions from the public if he's not going to answer them?

MarshaBradyo · 11/05/2020 19:41

He should get the questions in advance so he can prepare (no idea if he does).

SquitMcJit · 11/05/2020 19:41

Although to be fair, there’s some good questions from the public that we’ve all be asking on here. The answers are not so good...

JamieLeeCurtains · 11/05/2020 19:41

I've turned over to the BBC news channel.

Apparently there will be guidelines published about making schools 'Covid secure'. But he doesn't know any detail on that at all. Dumps it on Witty.

StealthPolarBear · 11/05/2020 19:42

"natasha does, on the face of it, have a legitimate question there"
Ouch

Isoneedtorun · 11/05/2020 19:42

Yes Lake District lady question, he gave that a complete swerve didn't he? Bet she's pleased she asked Hmm

feelingverylazytoday · 11/05/2020 19:43

Iwannatellyouastory I was thinking a stroke.
I've heard he has a stammer that makes public speaking a little difficult, could just be that though.

JamieLeeCurtains · 11/05/2020 19:44

He's terrible on the devolved nations too

JamieLeeCurtains · 11/05/2020 19:45

There's obviously something very wrong with him.

Bearbehind · 11/05/2020 19:46

This is really poor

Violetparis · 11/05/2020 19:47

It's shockingly bad.

Juanmorebeer · 11/05/2020 19:49

Was I the only one shouting at the TV ANSWER THE QUESTION! all of that twaddle and his answer to how working parents do their jobs is that employers just have to 'understand'?

Wtaf. Is this real life?
