Just a Yes or No thread there are hundreds on the ins and outs of this.

This morning I read that Matt Hancock is claiming support for an extension is strong amongst the public but that’s not the impression I’m getting from social media

So, will you stick to the rules if lockdown in the UK is extended for another 3 weeks

Yes or No

Yup otherwise the last 6 weeks have been for nothing.

Grumpbum123 · 28/04/2020 17:52

Yes I’d do another three weeks

Grumpbum123 · 28/04/2020 17:52

As long as I can get food and wine

MrsWooster · 28/04/2020 17:57

Yes

onemouseplace · 28/04/2020 18:01

Yes.

I do have at least one friend who is totally over lockdown and I think would struggle and probably won't.

@r

LifeMatters · 28/04/2020 19:33

@R1R2 do you really believe that this virus was transmitted to humans from bats without human intervention?

LynetteScavo · 28/04/2020 19:33

Yes

I'd rather have a longer lock down now than have to lock down again later in the year.

katienana · 28/04/2020 19:34

I would stick to rules but will probably start driving to exercise a couple of times a week to get a change of scenery.

winterinmadeira · 28/04/2020 19:35

Yes of course - it’s needed to avoid a second wave

I suspect the only people answering will be those who say yes so s self selecting sample which will not really tell you anything about the real stats

stella1know · 28/04/2020 20:28

Yes

Chillipeanuts · 28/04/2020 20:29

Sunshine

Not so sure. Within a week of loosening up regulations in Germany their retransmission rate has already increased (which was inevitable to me, non-scientist 🤷‍♀️) and I imagine other Govts. will be watching very carefully to see what happens there next. Same with Japan, which significantly opened up after just 3 weeks in “lockdown”. Infections (again, predictably) soared and they were forced to institute a second lockdown.

I’m glad that after a poor start our Govt.. is now adopting a very cautious approach.

BenjiB · 28/04/2020 20:40

Well there’s nothing open so nothing to do so I guess I’ll have to!
