Just a Yes or No thread there are hundreds on the ins and outs of this.

This morning I read that Matt Hancock is claiming support for an extension is strong amongst the public but that’s not the impression I’m getting from social media

So, will you stick to the rules if lockdown in the UK is extended for another 3 weeks

Yes or No

Yes, I will play my part for as long as it's asked of me.

Foldingstars07 · 28/04/2020 15:43

Yes.
I have lost a family member to Covid-19.

rhowton · 28/04/2020 15:57

No, not fully.

Grufallosfriends · 28/04/2020 16:07

Of course! We all need to do our bit to keep R down!

startswithanL · 28/04/2020 16:08

I'm concerned about the amount of people on here and in RL banging on about a vaccine many scientists have said there may not be one HmmSo we may have to live with this virus rather than it being eradicated!

Drivingdownthe101 · 28/04/2020 16:13

We will have to live with the virus. Even if a vaccine is found, can you imagine how long it would take to produce and roll out throughout the entire population?

Areyouactuallyseriousrightnow · 28/04/2020 16:16

Yes

Almahart · 28/04/2020 16:16

Yes. No question

catsjammies · 28/04/2020 16:19

Yes. Everywhere I would fancy going is closed anyway 🥴

CalmYoBadSelf · 28/04/2020 16:54

@PinkSparklyPussyCat I haven't seen anyone suggesting it should be extended or locked down harder but it seems that, having lobbied for lockdown and blaming the government for not locking down early on the grounds that people would get bored, the media switched immediately to lobbying for lifting the rules, demanding a plan and insisting on dates despite the scientists making it clear that moving ahead too soon risks a second peak
Most people I know seem to be making very sensible judgements on risk but it is clear that some can't be responsible which puts the government in a difficult position

Sexnotgender · 28/04/2020 16:54

Yes

MyGirlDaisy · 28/04/2020 16:57

Yes

RenegadeMrs · 28/04/2020 16:59

Yes.

Although I will feel angry if there is still no proper regime for testing suspected cases and front line workers in place by then. The sooner we move to a proper testing regime the sooner a safer balance of life can be found.

MadameJosephine · 28/04/2020 17:05

Yes, the only place I go is work (NHS) and to be honest even if lockdown is lifted I’ll be happy keeping to that for the time being
