Hancock has said "We have been very clear" twice. If he says it again, I'm going to shout "House!"

Also looking out for 'Guided by the science' and 'The PM is working hard...'

Any more?

They arent going to do anything tomorrow. Another three weeks....

I was previously working in a retail premises. This lockdown didnt really affect me. I was getting in the car, driving to work and mixing with people (essential worker btw) now working at home it definitely does feel different. Only place I go out to is the local supermarket a few times a week. Need a cut and blow dry, a facial, and a nice dinner out with the family.

This is a woeful performance by Johnson, full of his trade marked bluster, waffle, bizarre lexicon, and, well, just looking like a shambles of someone making it up as he goes along.

I'm rather shocked at how awful this is.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 30/04/2020 17:28

Peston ruins an initially good question with his characteristic verbal incontinence.

nauticant · 30/04/2020 17:29

Peston and Johnson having a verbal incontinence off.

I reckon Johnson gets it by a whisker.

vera99 · 30/04/2020 17:30

@nauticant, I agree! I thought Boris was supposedly a good public speaker but his colleagues during his absence have really shown him up. This is actually painful to watch.

JamieLeeCurtains · 30/04/2020 17:39

'Driving down the R' is the new catch phrase

vera99 · 30/04/2020 17:40

Could have been 500,000 deaths is the new normal.
