Put on a party hat and it's a costume.

PJ's and dressing gown, the kids are ready for bed too!

40somethingJBJ · 16/04/2020 16:59

Yep I do. I wouldn’t have even answered the door to the postman in my nightwear a few weeks ago, but I usually go up for a shower about 7 so no way am I getting proper clothes on just to stand on the doorstep and clap!

Fidgety31 · 16/04/2020 17:00

Why would I have my pyjamas on at 20:00?!

AmelieTaylor · 16/04/2020 17:01

🤣🤣

Make an effort to stay dressed? It's 8pm, not midnight!!

I clap from the upstairs bedroom windows (neighbours too close otherwise & a nicer view of the neighbourhood) so as long as I'm decent from the waist up it really doesn't matter 🤷🏻‍♀️

Harrykanesrightsock · 16/04/2020 17:05

I’ve just finished work after 4 hard days and I’m in my pyjamas right now. Might just stay in them until Monday.

islandofdoom · 16/04/2020 17:08

No

Toothsil · 16/04/2020 17:25

I'd never be in my PJ's at 8pm?! I have noticed lots of people clapping in their dressing gowns. It's 8pm for goodness sake!

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/04/2020 17:26

Yep, pjs all the way.

Peppafrig · 16/04/2020 17:27

Yes clap in my pjs why wouldn't I ? I'm not going past my front door.

Nochangeplease · 16/04/2020 17:29

I’m always in pjs by 8. Usually in some form of pjs/loungewear as soon as I walk in the door then I’ll put a fresh pair on after bath which is usually around half 7. Yesterday I had my bath at half 5 😂 and was ready for bed by 6.

Pumpkinpie1 · 16/04/2020 17:29

No

HelloItsmeAgain1 · 16/04/2020 17:29

Would never have predicted this thread title 6 months ago! This alone has made my day. Wine

In answer to the question. I have a small baby so tend to forget what time it is and clap from whatever room I'm in if I'm able to put him down.

HelloItsmeAgain1 · 16/04/2020 17:29

And wearing who know's what.

TheThingWithFeathers · 16/04/2020 17:30

I don't clap at all. HTH.

HelloDulling · 16/04/2020 17:31

No. I put my pyjamas on at bedtime. Which is not 8pm.

Annebronte · 16/04/2020 17:32

No.

homemadecommunistrussia · 16/04/2020 17:33

I don't clap either. Will be in my jammies by eight though.

ImfinallyaMummy · 16/04/2020 17:33

It surprises me that a lot of people think it's odd to be in pjs by 8pm! I'm normally in them by 6!!

What does HTH mean?

OP posts:
homemadecommunistrussia · 16/04/2020 17:34

It's one of the perks of modern life, wearing pyjamas.

Aozora13 · 16/04/2020 17:35

Yes but I’ve been mostly in bed with suspected bastard virus and it’s enough of an effort getting to the front door

Davespecifico · 16/04/2020 17:35

I’m finding this official clap thing a bit odd. And I don’t go out in the road in my pyjamas. I suppose I would lean out of the window in them.
Are people also going out in their slippers?
