Do you clap in your pjs?

Or make an effort to stay dressed once a week??

I too wonder if daytime pj wearing is a generational thing. It's not something that I remember ever happened in the 60's or 70's, for example, and going shopping in pjs is a fairly recent thing.

I don't wear anything in bed so don't actually have pjs but I do have a dressing gown though for after my bath or shower at the end of the day. Wouldn't wear just that standing on my step though Shock. What if it blew open!

My grown up kids have daytime or after work slobbing out clothing, or 'leisure' clothing. It is similar to pjs I suppose and sounds practical if they shower after work and are not going out somewhere in the evening. Me, I just remove my bra after work if I'm not going out later Grin.

Really enjoyed our weekly clap/wave to neighbours last night.

I don't understand the bra thing, either. If it fits properly why would you be more comfortable without it on? Are lots of British women walking around in the wrong size?

Shockers · 17/04/2020 11:25

Nobody can see us, so we could clap naked if we really wanted to.

'I'm surprised about the people who would never be in PJs at 8pm. One of my kids has always got up at 5am so to get 8 hours sleep, which I really need, I need to be fast asleep by 9pm which means every day I'm in my PJs, teeth cleaned and face washed by 8pm! Do you ladies not have kids???'

This ^

Except it is broken sleep at the moment with a baby who has night feeds.

Artandlove · 17/04/2020 12:02

Sometimes clothes and other times pj’s! (I’m certain my neighbours don’t mind 😃). I guess it depends if I get soaked or not during the kids bath time!!!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 17/04/2020 12:06

I am in lounge type clothes - joggers, jumper - but change into a nightshirt for bed. Next door’s kids were out in super cute onesies last night.

Usually I change into house clothes after work. I’m trying to maintain day clothes, house clothes, nightwear as normal.

My "child" is 19, and she is the last one to bed, and the last to get up Grin

Thescrewinthetuna · 17/04/2020 12:13

I was reading quickly and read this as ‘do you crap in your PJs’ and was like ewwww who would do that. I need more sleep I think 💤
I don’t clap. I did the first week (but in my house near an open window because my kids wanted to) but now it makes me cringe so much and usually I’m getting the kids ready for bed at 8pm.

Bigfishylittlefishy · 17/04/2020 12:55

Yes I do. There I was last week in my dressing gown, slippers, pan and spoon to boot!!.... of course this was the very moment my brand new next door neighbour decided to come out a greet us. I had no idea they had even moved in Blush
