Please see link, loads flood the tescis NHS hour, ignoring the why the NHS hour exists.
Also in news on TV last night everyone Congregating in parks and at beach.

Why?
Why us it just not sinking in wiith you all?
Please explain your logic and how you would feel if government just got sick of you not listening that they put in heavier restrictions and the army to police it simply because you couldn't manage to do it yourself?

I felt sick & rage over the weekend seeing people behave like it's a sunny bank holiday weekend. I would also like to understand why people are being so stupid and selfish

I'd say people are struggling to understand because everyone's saying 'most people are fine'.

Also many older people don't think they're in the vulnerable category. PIL are only mid 60s but 60 is still the cut off for Treatment in Italy. They're not considered young enough to not be at risk. But they say they're not 'elderly' so they'll be fine.

Worrying

Natural selection! Seriously the amount of groups I saw while out for a walk, keeping to myself, was crazy!

A colleague of mine put pictures up of her 'lovely family' spending mothers day with her. We work with the homeless ffs. I am really unimpressed

The NHS hour was packed in our tesco (mum has a lot of nurse friends who were sending pic updates) how do you know they weren't NHS workers? Are they not checking ID on entry?

I think a lot of people think that those covered in the "vulnerable" group are also the ones that once they've had their priority shopping are the ones going to meet the bridge club for coffee etc

Most people I know 65+ are going about their lives as normal And ignoring the advice

Example - Mrs Smith - 70 - divorcee - no underlying health conditions - only herself to feed - goes shopping during priority times and stocks up. Then meets Linda for coffee and Sharon for a nice walk in the park

Multiply this by 1000s and then there is nothing left for NHS workers finishing shifts and people with large families who need to buy more than the average single person?

Also how can you police this??? People in U.K. didn't want ID cards when the idea was mooted so we are relying on honesty and common sense which at times like this goes out the window

One of the criteria for vulnerable hour for at least one of the big supermarkets is, 'if you are doing shopping for someone who fits one of the categories above' (I paraphrase), which does make the eligibility rather wide.

I've seen several people post pictures on Facebook over the weekend of them socialising with friends, one posted her and a friend arms entwined and tagged it 'reunited' and another had just days earlier been self isolating but after two days has had various family members round and posted it all over social media. Our new neighbours had family in moving furniture yesterday and were being loud in the front garden with a crowd. I just don't understand why people are so silly :(

We went out for a walk. It was lovely to get out, knowing going to be stuck in all week. We socially distanced from everyone else, as was everyone else. There were a couple of times where people were coming towards us and we went single file to get past, which was a bit worrying, but think in our area, numbers of Coronavirus are still fairly low.

I saw a picture of a NHS nurse in the pub on Friday before they closed. Captioning it with something along the lines of ‘before the end of the world’ a picture with 2 friends practically cuddles up.She has since admitted that she ‘didn’t think it was that serious’... How she can think this I have absolutely no idea.

I went into Tesco's when it opened at 10 to regular shoppers, it was heaving and they'd only just opened the tills so there were queues round the shop, too many people to stand at a safe distance from each other. I don't know if they checked ID before 10. I went in because I'm regularly shopping rather than stockpiling. Some people had trolleys piled so high there was stuff falling off.

ID cards are not the answer.

The hours for who can shop when at which supermarket keep changing so its hard to keep up. We think we can go to Sainsburys at 8am tomorrow straight after the NHS slot, but I'll check tonight in case.

There needs to be a centralised list.

There was confusion here about if it was NHS only or NHS and the vulnerable. Turns out it was both. But that was a bit silly so they are going to have separate times now.

@Insideimsprinting

Well I wasn't 'one of them' however.....

My 2 young adult DC came to my house, and stayed with me and DH for about an hour. We never went anywhere or mixed with anyone else.

I have been to the shops twice this week for supplies, for an hour each time (3 different shops,) and don't think I am any more likely to get coronavirus from my 2 DC visiting for an hour, than I am to get it from going to the shops. Also, DH is still going to work, (he can't work from home,) so is just as likely to bring it home as my DC.

My DC live 20 and 30 miles from me, and are very busy professionals, and me and DH only see them once or twice a month anyway, and we had not seen them since 28th February.

So I am not apologising for seeing them for an hour on Mother's Day. Especially when I see pictures of the multiple 1000s of people close together on beaches, in markets, up Mount Snowdon etc...

A week ago in Spain we had 4000 cases I believe, and with complete lockdown it jumped to 25000 cases, so people going out for non essentials in the UK are just stupid. Hopefully natural selection takes them alone but it won't, my mum and mil are both vulnerable, as are my sisters. Lockdown enforced by the army can't come quick enough imo.

I’m furious at people unable to be sensible.

Stupid, selfish How can they not see how many peoples lives they’re risking.

Including many indirectly - I rely on eating low carb & walking daily to keep my diabetes under control & currently because of idiots I risk both of those things not being possible if we end up in lock down

I totally support curfews or lock downs if necessary, but they wouldn’t be if people weren’t behaving like dicks.

There's nothing wrong with going to parks and beach so long as you observe social distancing.

I imagine they headed out thinking it would be empty (it usually is in March) then as everyone else was doing it, they just acted like normal.

I went to my allotment. Social distancing is normal as each person sticks to their own plot anyway.

If a full lockdown comes in then we may not be able to go there so we are getting things into the ground as quickly as possible.

We went out for a walk on Saturday morning . Went into our local park (W London) which at that time is generally very quiet, normally may see a couple of dog walkers. However it was packed. There were kids football matches going on and loads of people milling around. There was no way you could walk keeping a safe distance.

Vikkimoog, that's a bit rude. Theres absolutely no problem going out for a walk if you are maintaining distance from people Hmm
