Loving the rainbows too. Although we are quite isolated, not sure anyone will see it from the public footpath! Still going to do it, just need to feel a bit better.

Coughing loads today and still feel not quite right and very tired. The longer it goes on the more I wonder if maybe it is.

I saw @Nancypineapple post earlier. How’s her daughter?

EmeraldShamrock · 22/03/2020 13:55

It is terrifying those images from Italy I read Russian medical staff are travelling to Italy to help. I saw this paragraph from a poster in Italy today.

By the way, two weeks ago, our death toll on 7 march was 233...that's your uk number today. You are still exactly two weeks behind us. That curve has not changed in a month. You are no different to us, we are very very similar European countries, believe me, I have lived in UK for 25 years and in Italy for 10 years. We are very similar in many ways. In two weeks your deaths will be around the 4,800 mark I'm afraid. That's not dependent on what you do today, because that is the result of people who are already carrying the virus, its history. It's done Shock

We've got rainbows in the windows. There are more every day we go out 🌈

Has made me angry (by the way the link as above is not what the story is about as that is a good thing)

Sloane Square was filled with boy racers driving around their cars presumably believing that youth and money makes them invincible!

Eeyoresstickhouse · 22/03/2020 14:01

If we go into lockdown they may be taking me away to be put in prison. We have isolating since Friday and our very inconsiderate downstairs neighbour has had bass music blaring since 4PM friday afternoon and only just turned it off. We have called environmental health but obviously they have more important things to do at this current time and are probably understaffed. We have politely asked and got a lot of abuse and swearing. We have had a horrible note shoved through the door saying how vile we are for banging on our floor and she is scared her light will break and its scaring her 14 year old NT child (Hmm).

I have just about had enough. We dont have a garden we are trapped in the flat with a 3 year old and having thump thump thump for over 36 hours has sent me over the edge.

Scottish numbers:

•	416 tests were positive
•	10 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died

Does anyone know what they were yesterday?

Number12 · 22/03/2020 14:10

Thanks @ofwarren I've had a read and yet it still seams a bit bonkers to me but then I've never been one to follow the herd if I think differently!

lemonjumper · 22/03/2020 14:12

@Aurea Scotland yesterday was 373 positive and 7 deaths.

ofwarren · 22/03/2020 14:13

@Number12
Totally alien concept for me too. I've always thought ahead and would never ignore a crisis.

ofwarren · 22/03/2020 14:13

UPDATE on #COVID19 testing in the UK:

Today's figures will be published later today.

We are working hard to provide you with the latest information and will tweet this out as soon as possible.

Number12 · 22/03/2020 14:22

danni0509 · 22/03/2020 14:22

danni0509 · 22/03/2020 14:23

@Newbeginnings2 Thanks

nancypineapple · 22/03/2020 14:33

Hi @Calmonthesurfacebut so sorry to hear you feel poorly-its impossible to know if it's this virus unless they start testing. I really hope you start to feel better very soon. It's taken my 8 year old 2 weeks to get over whatever it was-the more I read about what's been going on in London the more I think she has had it. I have had so many people call and tell me they think it sounds very likely! That you dont just suddenly develop pneumonia from nowhere, no history or family history of asthma or chest infections plus the fact that high dose antibiotics didnt work. she had been in and out of London on the tubes,buses etc, went to a big event in the west end on March 1st where everyone had flown in from all over the previous weekend. She has a continuous dry cough , no cold/mucus and had a 40° temp for 6 days and 2 different
sets of antibiotics were no help. Also I have just found out a parent of her classmate had a similar illness the same week after coming into close contact with a person from China who had tested positive and didnt self quarantine. However she was repeatedly refused a test so we will never know. Take care and rest a lot xxx

cjt110 · 22/03/2020 14:48

Have today’s figures been announced and have we heard from Bojo today?

Horehound · 22/03/2020 14:49

@namethecat here it is

ClashCityRocker · 22/03/2020 14:53

BoJo at 4.30 I think.

Today's numbers not up yet.

Janemarpling · 22/03/2020 14:54

Nicola is on the news.

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 22/03/2020 14:55

@amz12 That is terrifying Sad

excitedmumtobe87 · 22/03/2020 14:56

@BretonKitten I suspected Cummings was behind this policy. So he claims the article revealing that he wanted old people to die is defamatory. If it truly is defamatory we’ll see him sue and win. He won’t.

Number12 · 22/03/2020 14:57

Just listened to DR Jack on LBC radio via @piersmorgon on twitter. Worth a listen.

bananacakeZ · 22/03/2020 14:57

If we are following Italy figures, the UK figure will be around 366 today?

I hate to say it but due to stupidity in this country something tells me in 2-3 weeks our figures will be much, much worse. I hope I'm wrong.
