Institute? Like shops etc? Makes more sense if twelve year olds can go out.

Oh sorry my kids not even nursery 😭 was meant to be there now fat chance this year. Trying to tidy the flat today it’s become a real mess . Really losing the will to keep up a routine. Not sure how but I now have so many commitments and things to do. I’m a master procrastinator at the moment.

I’m shocked by how disappointed and angry I am by this. Me and my mum spent the weekend making face masks for us in preparation we have been practicing with dd to get her used to it then this!

Thank fuck! I’m impressed they listened to feedback and acted on it.... in just 4 hours! The UK would stick to a proven terrible idea, even if it killed everyone, out of sheer bloody-mindedness!

It sounds like they are doing a U turn and changing the conditions. Thank Goodness, the first idea was ridiculous.

I’m so glad I’ve almost been in tears over the ridiculous first suggestion. Thinking up plans like my mum go with dd to the shop and I pick her up before they go in after going to the corner shop. Like crazy thoughts . So glad for the u turn!

How is everyone feeling today?

Yesterday was rubbish, I got in a real funk over a failed Amazon delivery. We've never ordered here before so it was bound to be dubious. But what a small thing for me to feel down about.

Today is better. We've seen a ship out at sea, an aeroplane , and best of all, we seem to have a resident kestrel, which will drive away all the pigeons that live around here. It's really beautiful watching it.

I was feeling a bit crappy last couple of days, we saw a helicopter though over the last two days. Had a little cry tonight as my friends baby was born sleeping but she is in the U.K. so I’m no help x I’m trying to figure out a way to keep the restaurant going and everything a float until next year which is stressful.

Nice day today, had a good run around in the basement 😊

How has today been? I've got dressed up fancy, as a positive boost. In a jumpsuit. It's a bugger going to the loo!
I hear from quite a few local restaurant owners on Facebook, One Is really positive about reopening, and tourists. Another thinks there'll be no opening at all this year. It's hard to tell which way it'll go.

Our flight next week got cancelled, not surprised. So now we're waiting on the next booking, in June. If that doesn't fly we might have to get 2 planes and go via the mainland. Got to get home eventually.

@amigababy guess you’ve gone past your 90 days 😂 there’s really low numbers here so hopeful but I don’t think the Camino will really open there is only 90k people here the Camino brings a extra 300k during the warmer months so no idea what’s going to happen.

Got some plans joining just eat for deliveries 😭300 euro fee😭 planing on getting perplex dividers and special equipment to bus tables my restaurant is tiny though! On 12 people can sit inside and 8 outside and possibly 6 at the bar max.

Keep a eye on Santiago de Compestela for flights we will be one of the first to open, we have very low numbers.

He is, thanks. One more week of the tablets but as they're working he's going to try and get another months supply. Still needs a bit of improvement but he's much better.
Did you go out yesterday?
We had fun watching families going round the block and onto the beach. It wasn't busy, it's too touristy here for many actual families to live all year round.
Waiting for our turn next week maybe?

The 2nd of May I think? Took DD out for a walk she was so happy really brightened her spirits.

We went and saw the ducks and geese. Saw a couple of people breaking the rules but it was generally good, found a dead mummified frog which dd was very excited about lol

Glad your DP is starting to feel better, not a great time to feel I’ll.

In our town outside of Madrid people have been really good, though it helps we are in a fairly loose inhabited area compared to central Madrid or the coast. Even in the mountains as the only people there yesterday morning the police were out checking ID and making sure we were within 1km!

We're watching Sanchez now and wishing my Spanish was better. Interstate all these phases but when will we be allowed out?!

Not sure about the statement that there'll be no movement between the islands. Our backup plan to get back to UK is probably flying via Barcelona, which is possible at the moment. But maybe not during the de escalation.
