We did PE with Joe this morning. It killed me Monday - thighs of fire! So we're doing it 3 days a week. DS collapsed on the sofa with a stick of chorizo, I did 30+ minutes Zumba on youtube, just randomly choosing videos.
DS said of PE with Joe: "he cracked my eggs!"
that's going in the elQuinto Lockdown Journal
We have a flexible timetable that dS and I created together, it shows work time, snack time, reading, free time and when he can go on electronics. Monday great, yesterday mostly Lego! Today so far great. As I said, totally flexible but he likes seeing what's next, gives him stability. And, added bonus, he doesn't whinge for the tablet! Result!
He's doing Lego Challenge with four people, including his cousin in the Antipodes. A Lego friend created a 30 Day Drawing Challenge, with other kids too, we started it yesterday. I will keep all the pictures and put them in a little folder for the future.
Otherwise it's work, he's not doing all the set school work (grow a legum/sunflower seed, we don't have any. The other includes taking photos of your house.....erm, no! It's a shit top! Not gonna happen!!). But writing a diary yes, measuring the flat with a 1m2 piece of fabric yes - he liked that a lot!
He's a fairly happy chump. We don't have TV news on, or radio, we barely talk about C19 in front of him so there's nothing making him anxious.
I get him to help cook - stir porridge, chop a tomato, measure pasta rations, nothing instagram-worthy!
I'm in Catalunya and apparently this is the worst-hit area
although no cases of abandoned elderly in their care homes - that's truly upset me
how utterly terrible.
DH is flat out, so I'm the cleaner, entertainer, cook and bottle washer! Then I work! DH has mostly been dog walking and chief shopper, though.
Today's mission, should I choose to accept it, is to try making a face mask! Wish me luck!
