You can still order on amazon. They are taking on more staff. Saw one of the head guys on the news earlier saying they are prioritizing certain items, but other stuff although the delivery might be a little slower will get to you.

I use parcel2go, UPS. If you've got a family member or friend to pack a box up for you then you send 30KG boxes over for about £20.

I buy a lot on ebay and my DF packs everything up for me and we post over every 3 months or so.

Takes 4 working days to get here usually, fully tracked.

I went to the park with the kids last Thursday, sat in the sun and had a coffee in the bar next door to the park. Seems like a million miles away now.

I am in France in lockdown and will be doing a shared history project via skype with GD (11) in lockdown in Spain. We will be working on improving her writing in English, desktop publishing skills and historical knowledge. Eldest GD (17) in UK is going to help as she is doing A level history. I am an ex primary school teacher and love a good project. 😊

My parents got a rescue flight back to the UK. Thanks for the hand hold lovely Spanish MNers! I have told them to isolate.

I read yesterday that one of the Wuhan experts/doctors said not to be fooled into thinking that only the sick and elderly die. This backs up what he was saying. Everybody is at risk. Everybody needs to be careful.

Checking in from Cadiz, and a huge muchas gracias for starting this thread. I think today is the first day I've actually felt frightened by it all. It's so bleak here. My DDs (3 and 8) are so positive and full of life, so unsuspecting ...they've been brilliant these last few days. I so hope we find a way around this.
