Thanks @elquintoconyo - here are some UK ones if useful:..

www.topmarks.co.uk

www.crickweb.co.uk

ictgames.com

m.coolmathgames.com

www.gonoodle.com

Also, Twinkl are offering their online resources for free until after the restrictions are lifted.

elQuintoConyo · 17/03/2020 23:02

Fantastic!

May I recommend an app called Happy Colour which is basically paint by numbers, therapeutic for me! Colouring in a rhino or mandala - 10 minutes of focussing on something other than OMFG is that the four horsemen of the apocalypse? Grin

PotsOfPebbles · 17/03/2020 23:44

time for Just Dance

My DC love Just Dance. We watch the youtubes and they copy. Animal, GhostBusters and the football one (can't remember the name of the song now, Shakira yaka yaka or something like that) are their favourites.

What ones do yours like?

That K5 maths site with the printable worksheets brought a great calm this morning. Definitely doing some more tomorrow and looking up 'cosmic yoga'. Thanks for the links.

@Novia aww , it’s hard for the kids. I’m a true introvert alone I’d be fine with the toddler it’s hell. Do you have any little shops my corner shops have plenty of stock.

@Novia it’s okay to be resentful, I think the mentality of the uk has been appalling part of the reason I left after they voted for Brexit.

Good morning, I'm glad I found this thread. My Mum lives in La Font d'en Carros near Oliva and Gandia. She's already bored out of her mind.

BirdandSparrow · 18/03/2020 07:57

It's the combination of boredom and anxiety and lack of exercise.

DH has gone to work but I don't know yet what they're going to do. The union reps said last night some would continue working, some ERTEs and some short holidays. Don't fully understand the short holidays, maybe to reduce the numbers temporarily but those people won't be ERTEs. The demand for the company's services isn't reduced (atención telefónica) so, it's the issue with not complying with minimum safety measures. Too many of them packed in together.

elQuintoConyo · 18/03/2020 08:13

My Dsil is working in an office, half hour drive away. Says the office s out there are all busy, cleanings crews in, like any normal Monday! Im rather jealous of her human contact, honestly.. DH works from home anyway, I'm doing online classes, just the three of us.

Anyone else tempted to put up their Christmas tree? I flounced about in my wedding dress yesterday, then DS tried it on Grin

Love the logo Name, you're one talented mofo!

Nameisthegame · 18/03/2020 08:17

Not even 9 I’m sick of today my dd know you need to get dressed an have a nappy change before we can leave the bedroom (if I waited until after she would just run around the house) 20 mins and counting. Every other morning she does this. 😂

OP posts:
Nameisthegame · 18/03/2020 08:19

Oh I like the Christmas tree idea! I wish I had a wedding dress to flounce around in but I am trying some daring clothing combos. Wish our lockdown was more like France they can go out for exercise and to give the kids some freash air.

@wrongsideofhistorymyarse hi welcome 👋 sorry to hear she’s so bored, there’s a few online courses she could do for free.

@BirdandSparrow seems like a complete mess it wouldn’t suprise me if similar stuff is happening all over the country.

Name I've suggested she joins Mumsnet and this thread. 😁

Novia · 18/03/2020 09:21

I sent DH out this morning to get some shopping. Aldi was well stocked, but no fresh milk. We have some UHT for emergencies but I was hoping to avoid a bit longer! 😂

Ordered a printer from Amazon which arrived yesterday - need to plug it in so the kids can do more school work. It's good they send stuff, but all needs printing.

BirdandSparrow · 18/03/2020 09:32

He went in today and is one of the ones kept on...thank FUCK. They've given ERTEs to some, not sure if some are on the 5-day holiday they mentioned. The ones still working are now distributed with empty desks on each side and not hot desking any more, they have gloves and sanitiser and the canteen is organised to follow safety guidelines too.

The demand is the same, greater even as people now have time to phone up and query their bill from 6 months ago, haha. So, I think maybe the company will source other premises to have them all more spread out and then once they have enough space to comply properly will call the others back in.

He said the police were in again today liaising with the most senior manager and monitoring compliance.

It was on Andalucia Directo last night.

Really relieved because I ahve had NO work at all since this started. But I won't be eligible for not paying the ss cuota.

PotsOfPebbles · 18/03/2020 09:35

That logo is brilliant Nameisthegame

I didn't sleep well at all last night. Finally went off around 4.30. It just all felt so massive. 11,826 last night, it hasn't been updated so when it does it's going to be big. I remember before when Italy got to 12 thousand, it seemed huge and unbelievable, now that's where we are.

DH got all the duplo boxes out for the DC. We have loads as they loved it when they were little, they always got a few sets for birthdays and Christmas from people, and I got a couple of really big second hand bundles from eBay, so there's loads. DH has set them the challenge of making a bridge that can carry a large weight and the tallest tower they can make without standing on anything. That's keeping them entertained for now.

I'm going to put the news in now.

Nameisthegame · 18/03/2020 09:50

@BirdandSparrow it’s great that they’ve started getting better hygiene atleast! I defthink there will be a jump of numbers as people are isolated with the sick but I doubt we will ever know the true numbers.

OP posts:
Nameisthegame · 18/03/2020 09:59

Oh duplo! I had something similar as a kid, sadly dd is too young but I remember having so much fun with them! I’m going to take dd to the restaurant tomorrow to water all my plants luckily it’s a very quiet walk so shouldn’t be a problem.
