Conflict in the Middle East

Is the green party starting to regret it's association with Islamists?

The green party, ostensibly about climate protection and general progressive values seems to have gotten into bed with Islamist sympathisers and the amount of anti semitism and basic hatred of their own country is now obvious.

The green party now at least locally are known as a party that has sympathies towards all manner of Islamist causes including Hamas's objective to wipe Israel of the face of the Earth.

Wouldn't be surprised if they produce a motion declaring climate change a Jewish conspiracy........

Why don’t you tell us about the Hannibal Directive, since you keep bringing it up?
How many deaths on October 7th were caused by it you reckon? Because according to official investigations it’s 14, out of 1200. And it would have been 0 had Hamas not attacked.

I've heard reports that it was the majority but that hasn't been officially confirmed yet. I think Ronen Bar's court case is very interesting though.

Tell me again about the four Israelis soldiers who were half naked, holding up white flags and calling out in Hebrew who were gunned down by the IDF because they might have been Palestinian. Tell me again about the Hannibal protocol.

Why do you want anyone to tell you about the Hannibal Directive? Isn't that your thing? You bring it up on every thread. As though anyone who isn't Jewish Israeli couldever do anything wrong. Once the Jewish state ceases to exist like you desperately dream of who are you going to hate?

Speaking of genocide apologists.

The funding picture is similar in UK & other countries.

I would absolutely hate anyone who tries to deny Jews have a right exist in their ancestral homeland.

Not just “exist” surely? They have a right to have their own ancestral homeland where they will be free from the fear of persecution from antisemitics.

They need to learn to share though. Back to irrelevant analogies, wiping out the indigenous population is not really a morally acceptable policy anymore. Read 'Altneuland' by Hertzl. Littwak and Bey's characters give an idea of how Zionism could have worked instead of the barbaric brutality of what it is today. I thought that Israel had denounced 'Torat Hamelekh' but it appears it justifies a lot of the international crimes in Gaza.

I couldn't give a damn whether a person is Jewish or any other religion. I judge people on their character. What I am really against is anyone who thinks it is okay to treat millions of people the way Israel has been treating the Palestinians for decades and I believe the vast majority of people who care about Palestinians are the same. I know antisemitism is on the rise but I have met hundreds of pro-Palestinians and not one blames Jews as a whole but according to Genocide apologists, anyone who expresses support for Palestinians is an antisemite.

“but I have met hundreds of pro-Palestinians and not one blames Jews as a whole”

Well except if this were true there wouldn’t have been the Bondi Beach massacre, or the attack on the synagogue in Manchester or any of the other attacks on Jews around the world. Not Israelis - Jews.

So I can’t say why you haven’t met them (or haven’t noticed this reality) but it’s clearly not the case that nobody in the west hates “Jews as a whole”. Many definitely do.

The fate of Jews in just about every other Muslim majority country and especially in the Mid East and North Africa indicates that the only way they can “exist” in their ancestral homeland is in a country that explicitly recognises their rights - and there’s no reason to think that a Muslim majority state in Palestine would do better in that regard than Egypt, Saudi, Syria or Iraq.

Yes, Christians are clamouring to get out of Muslim majority countries in the middle east. Most Jews are long gone.

This gives an idea of the sort of 'existance' Jews could expect in a Palestinian majority state. They are fighting for their survival, that's the truth of it.

And even leaving and going to Europe or the USA is not an option as the anti-Israel agitators have made countries in the west unsafe for Jews.

I will not deny that there are many who conflate Zionism with Judaism. It results in the atrocities you mention. The thing is, it is not just the murderous morons who make that conflation, it is a conflation that Netanyahu has been encouraging from day one so who is really responsible.

I guess there is always a justification for ethnic cleansing and genocide then.

Moving the goal posts again I see - your claim was the NO pro Palestinians hated Jews as a whole. Now it’s been shown that isn’t true you try to move on to a different point entirely.

You’re assuming Israel is committing genocide - I thought you’d agreed that this isn’t proven?

But in any case the invasion of Gaza would not have happened if Hamas had not invaded Israel in Oct 2023.

I'm not moving any goal posts. I said I recognise there has been a rise in antisemitism if you want to go back and check. I also said I have never met anyone who blames all Jews for this. To put some more perspective to this, I really dislike apologists like Douglas Murray, Julia Hartley-Brewer and Nick Ferrari who are not Jewish but are very Zionist. Unfortunately it is very difficult to trace how much money we are talking about.

Absolute bullshit. I said I have never met an antisemite as in someone who hates Jews for being Jewish. I have met plenty of people who actually express hatred towards Israelis but I have always argued that some Israelis do have empathy. I have met plenty of Jews who are appalled and embarrassed that genocidal ethnosupremacists conflate their religion with a cruel, racist brutality.

Do you very much dislike Zionists who are not Jewish like me - who have no money apart from the money I earn.
Do you understand that much of the pro Pal movement has been funded by Iran ( and probably Russia who LOVE to stir the pot away from Ukraine)
